If anyone at CBS is reading these message boards, take heed….I BEG OF THE CBS POWERS-THAT-BE NOT TO CANCEL ‘GOLDEN BOY’! Theo James is stellar, as is the supporting cast. Mr. James is a fabulous actor who brings a sweet subtlety to his role not often seen on television these days. There is great chemistry between members of the ensemble cast and the show is a diamond, much in the fashion of ‘Person of Interest’. Both shows have me as a viewer absolutely glued to my seat, leaving me at their end wanting more and greatly anticipating the next week’s episodes. I LOVE ‘Golden Boy’ and would gladly put ‘Two Broke Girls’ on the chopping block. instead ‘Two Broke Girls is mindless juvenile drivel and is not even really all that funny. Just because the two stars of the show have ample cleavage does not a great show make. ‘Golden Boy’ is well written and admirably performed by the ensemble cast. There are viewers out here that are literally HUNGRY for shows like this that have some substance to them and that are truly entertaining. PUH-LEEEEEEASE don’t cancel this show! Don’t abandon us viewers, CBS! DON’T ABANDON US BY CANCELLING ‘GOLDEN BOY’!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree. Your comments summarize what viewers have to be left with.
“Funny” shows that are mindless, versus shows that give you something to thing about. Too bad the networks have abandoned viewers with a mind.

I love Golden Boy! It is well written and beautifully acted. Please give it time to build an audience. I remember when cbs wasn’t sure about Blue Bloods-another great show. It is time to keep quality shows on the air!

CBS should renew Golden Boy. It is a different type of ” cop show” and is intriguing and clever every week. Give it a chance. With proper promotion, the audience will build.
