Taxi Driver is one of the most enjoyable new shows on TV. It has good writing, strong acting and a deft blend of comedy and action. It is a stronger show than many other shows already on the air. Give it time to gain an even greater audience.

So far and above most of the crap that is on tv. It should come back for five more years.

Thomas Crockett August 17, 2014 at 2:14 pm

Please do not cancel this show it is one of the best action/comedy shows on tv and it has wonderful chemistry between the characters. It should be kept on for at least two more years.

Please do not cancel…seems like all the shows that actually make sense get cancelled and we get another reality show in it’s place.

Gee, maybe this series is ending because I – like every other casual viewer – did not know the concept or background story until I I looked it up on “TV Viewer” – that Detective Caitlyn “Cat” Sullivan needed a skilled taxi driver who had immigration problems whom she agreed to help in exchange for his driving her to find her father’s murderer.

No wonder it is being cancelled. We are not all Hollywood insiders or vidiots who spend all day studying TV shows. So when we turn on a show we need to have an idea what the point is.

Just so Hollywood TV writers today understand what to do – The award-winning and long=running series “The Fugitive” told you every episode AT THE START the point of the show so you could enjoy the series.

Grow up, Hollywood!

I really enjoy this show. There is plenty of crime drama, but there is a lot of humor in how she has to take the taxi to all the crime scenes. I don’t know how the taxi driver makes a living, but who cares. It is a really good buddy show, not so heavy like most CSI and SVU. PLEASE keep it on.
