TV show description:
This reality show involves two families, usually from vastly different social classes and lifestyles, as they trade wives/mothers for two weeks.
Initially, the new wife must follow the same rules and lifestyle of the wife she is replacing. Later she establishes her own rules which the family must follow.
At the end of the two weeks, the two couples meet together to discuss their experiences.

| • | Pilots for spin-offs entitled Boss-Swap, Husband Swap, and Vacation Swap were filmed but were not picked up as series. |

| • | The producers of Wife Swap sued Trading Spouses producers in December 2004, claiming they had stolen their show idea. The parties reached an undisclosed out-of-court settlement in February 2005. |

What happened to Wife Swap? We live in Northern NJ..it isn’t on anywhere?
@Debbie: It’s been renewed for the current season but hasn’t returned yet. Supposedly it’s coming back this spring.
