Yesterday, we reported that Mom (season three) and Mike & Molly (season six) had been renewed for the 2015-16 season. Now, CBS has made their renewals official and have also renewed 2 Broke Girls for a fifth season.
Airing Mondays, 2 Broke Girls, streetwise Max Black (Kat Dennings) and formerly-wealthy Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs) work in a greasy diner. The unlikely partners try to earn enough money to pay their bills and develop their cupcake business. The sitcom co-stars Garrett Morris, Jonathan Kite, Matthew Moy, and Jennifer Coolidge.
Year-to-year, 2 Broke Girls is down by 15% in the 18-49 demographic but up slightly in viewership, averaging a 2.1 in the demo and 8.29 million.
Here’s the official announcement:

In its Thursday (8:30-9:00 PM) time period, MOM ranked first in viewers, adults 18-49 (tie) and adults 25-54. Compared to the year ago time period, MIKE & MOLLY is up +20% in viewers and +6% in adults 25-54.

What do you think? Do you like 2 Broke Girls? Are you glad that it’s been renewed or, should it have been cancelled instead?
I for one am so glad it’s renewed for a fifth season I love this show so much!!
The thing is that the big bang theory series has a striking resemblance to friends. Think of it, three guys, three girls, an apartment and marriage. I kind of got fed up with the show after season 4 when the geeky stuff went.
This is poor program as it runs now. Its first season was good but the writing in following seasons has declined.
we love the show keep up the good work!
Not crazy about this show. Too vulgar especially for the time slots its shown.
Two Broke Girls has gotten too vulgar the last few seasons. It started out funny and somewhat raunchy but now it is over the top in vulgarity. I would not recommend this show for teenage viewers or children under 12! The Big Bang Theory is always funny but never vulgar!!!!
come on guys this show is wonderful, it’s ment to be a joke don’t take it serious. I love it
i guess we can tiptoe around all the other nationalities and ethnic groups but Polish are fair game. not one funny INSTANT in this show.
“2 Broke Girls” overall is filled with immature dirty jokes especially against various ethnic groups. The ethnic group it seems to bash the most is the Polish people….which is quite disgusting since Poland has always been a good ally of America. Its shameful that “2 Broke Girls” would use its “Polish” character as a lightning rod for Anti-Polish slurs and degradation.
Why is it allowable to bash Polish people? Apparently we have not done enough to object to the slurs against a hard working, silently suffering ethnic group. I refuse to watch “Two Broke Girls” and I will bash THEM every chance I get.
I am offended by the slam on polish food and people. We can’t offend other ethnic groups but polish are still open game? Nuts to that.
I don’t find 2 Broke Girls entertaining in any kind of way. They canceled all the sitcoms I did like but they should have canceled this instead.
Yes! another favorite show renewed!!
I watched the first three seasons of this show and I have no idea why. It’s just one-liners you can see a mile away and they somehow managed to make Jennifer Coolidge annoying. I stopped watching when Kim Kardashian appeared and I realized I really didn’t care about the show at all.
I love this show,I never miss it. I’m glad they renewed. It!!!
I’m a very happy man to see 2 Broke Girls getting renewed for Season Five. Looks like it’s going to past 100 episodes. 🙂
glad 2 Broke Girls is renewed that’s so funny they remind me of Lucy and Ethel
