Could there be a Banshee spin-off? Recently, showrunner Jonathan Tropper discussed his plans for the recently ended Cinemax series.
The action drama starred Antony Starr as an ex-con who assumes the identity of a small-town sheriff. The cast also included Ben Cross, Ivana Milicevic, Rus Blackwell, Ryann Shane, and Ulrich Thomsen. Banshee aired its final episode on May 20th.
When asked if he had any plans for a spin-off series, Tropper said there have been informal talks:
There are no investors, other than Cinemax. We have had some offhanded talks about it, but nothing in television really comes from talks like that. I think the only way any kind of spin-off or sequel would happen would be if I had a very clear vision of a great new show featuring some of these characters, and I would have to pitch it to Cinemax like any other show.”
He added that he would be open to a spin-off with Starr:
I don’t think we will be doing any spin-offs, but I’m always open to it. And if we did, I couldn’t imagine doing it without Antony.”

Yes I am a fan me and my wife and we will watch the show if they come back on or a spinoff or anything dealing with banshee we love the characters and yes we do agree with you we need Starr if you do it again that’s my opinion but it is a good series.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Do a return of Banshee. Hell I will invest my life savings into it. Start out with Anna or Sugar in trouble or something in that line. I have watched recording of the series many times and it’s as good as the first time I have watched it. At least one movie or a short series. Thanks for the 4 seasons. Again it will make money. I bet my money on it.
I’ve watched this show 5 times!!!!!!! And I still can’t get enough of if and hell yes there should be a spin off show involving job!!!!!!! He’s my guy so as job says such mt ***!!!!
