The following is the fourth part of a list of TV series that are ending or have been cancelled during the 2010-11 season.
For more, be sure to check out part one, part two, and part three of the listings.
Note: Go here for the latest 2011-12 season list.
Networks and cable channels have different ideas of when a season starts or ends but, to us, it makes sense to start the season on June 1, 2010 and and it on May 31, 2011. In some cases, the last episode of a show aired earlier than these dates but the network didn’t get around to canceling the series until later. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, try the 2008–2009 page, the 2009–2010 listings.
Scoundrels (ABC)
Airing over the summer, this TV show performed even worse than its sister show, The Gates. All seven episodes have aired and there won’t be any more.
Shaq Vs (ABC) NEW
This reality series pits the star athlete against other stars in their own fields of expertise. It ran for two seasons and 10 episodes but is now done.
Secret Diary of a Call Girl (Showtime) NEW
Star and executive producer Billie Piper signed a deal for the fourth and final season of this UK series. They’ll begin airing on Showtime on April 7th.
Skating with the Stars (ABC)
Essentially an on-ice version of Dancing with the Stars, this reality series was not a hit in the ratings and won’t be back for season two.
Smallville (The CW)
After 10 seasons, it looks like Clark Kent will finally become Superman. Will we get to see the man of steel slip on the familiar blue and red tights before the end? We’ll have to wait and see.
Stargate Universe (Syfy)
The most recent member of the Stargate franchise hasn’t attracted as many fans as the previous series. Syfy has cancelled the show and all of the episodes have now aired. Producers and MGM are looking at possible ways to continue the series in some way.
The Suite Life on Deck (Disney) NEW
After two series, it looks like Mr. Moseby is finally getting a rest. Mr. Tipton sells the ship and Cody, Zack, London, Bailey, and Woody graduate.
Supernanny (ABC)
Nanny Jo Frost announced that she wanted to end the series so that she can start a family of her own. The finale aired on March 18, 2011.
Terriers (FX)
Though many viewers and critics loved it, this series never caught on in a big way. FX aired all 13 episodes but there won’t be any more.
Traffic Light (FOX) NEW
This sitcom got poor ratings right out of the gate and they went lowers as the weeks went on. FOX has cancelled it after 13 episodes and one season.
True Beauty (ABC) NEW
Contestants on this reality show believe that they’re competing in a contest of external appearance and talents but they’re actually being judged on their inner beauty. It lasted 16 episodes and two seasons.
Tyler Perry’s House of Payne (TBS) NEW
This sitcom revolves around the Payne family who live in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. With 222 episodes, it’s the second-longest running US sitcom with an African-American cast (behind The Jeffersons).
Undercovers (NBC)
An action-comedy series that revolves around a husband and wife spy duo never really got off the ground. The peacock network has decided against ordering anymore episodes, effectively cancelling the TV show.
V (ABC) NEW
The alphabet network renewed the serial despite lackluster ratings. Season two did even worse so the cancelled it. Sorry Visitors!
United States of Tara (Showtime) NEW
The ratings had been sliding for quite awhile so the cable channel decided not to order a fourth season.
The Whole Truth (ABC)
This legal series starring Rob Morrow and Maura Tierney had lousy premiere numbers and the ratings seemed to sink lower every week. It’s not known if the network will get around to airing all of the episodes.
Working Class (CMT)
The cable channel’s first sitcom had a great start but the ratings dropped too low for it to get renewed. The last episode aired on April 1st.

What do you think? Are there any shows on this list that you’ll particularly miss?
There will only be two shows left that I will watch, and one of them is said to be ending next year. Yippee! TV — soon a thing of the past.
Lie to Me, Human Target and worst of all Chicago Code all getting canceled?? Major bone to pick with Fox – do they know quality shows when they have them!?
Chase was a great show. I give up I will not watch any new shows I get attaches and they are canceled. ABC is off my list for good.
Chase is a great show . I give up will not any more new shows especially on ABC
So now we will be subjected to watching all these new and stupid reality shows, who cares about that crap……when ever they get a great show / series they freaking cancel it
JACK ASS NET WORK PEOPLE……LEAVE THE GOOD STUFF ON
Detroit 1-8-7 Great Show…..WHY????
The Chicago Code…..ARE they CRAZY…….
Dark Blue
The Defenders
Human Target….Great Show….very funny
“Lie To Me” is just too good for Fox. With their truncated evening, they don’t have the time slots to give great scripted shows a decent chance. Hopefully it will find a new home.
“Off The Map” started slowly but was developing nicely, and I’ll miss it.
Oh, “Criminal Intent”, these eight episodes are so bittersweet. Goren and Eames: my all time favorite duo. Many more, please!
Tired of “Already Been Concieved”‘s show cancellations? Tell ’em what you think!

I am not sure how anyone expects these shows to last when #1, you don’t advertise enough for it. And #2, you put all the shows on 1 night, i,e. Monday nights with every other show airing for the first time and you wonder why these shows wont make it. Maybe you should consider, people like me not getting excited about TV programming anymore because as soon as I like something, I get all into it, and then, you cancel the show, so why continue to watch something you are going to cancel anyway. I just heard about Breaking In,… Read more »
Part of the problem with getting involved with a Network show is getting hooked on a show that gets the axe. Cable channels are more patient with letting a show develop. Shows on cable are just a safer bet to continue.
Shows I watch(ed):
No Ordinary Family
V
My Own Worst Enemy
Burn Notice
Sons of Anarchy
phych
Well with all my network shows cancled I guess I can cancle my local channels with DISH.
Mad Love was great, I LOVE Sarah Chalke & watch anything she is in. She was my desktop background for a long time. Now that her show is cancelled, I guess it will be again till she has something else or my GF gets mad enough that I change it. (For about the 3rd time) I knew Better With You wouldn’t last, though it was pretty funny. Had the same feeling about Mad Love, but was optimistic since it was the better show. Law & Order: LA was good, mainly because ADA Rubarosa (Alana Dela Garza, who is beautiful- &… Read more »
Last year my position was outsourced to India as a result of Oracle purchasing Sun Microsystems… so I naturally was drawn to watch NBC’s Outsourced to see how they would handle this situation that has been painful for many Americans. Honestly, I expected the show to consist of a series of thinly veiled racial slurs and low-brow jokes at the expense of the Indian culture. While Outsourced certainly does capitalize on the sometimes humorous differences between our cultures, I was surprised to find an addictive light hearted comedy with loveable well-developed characters. Outsourced is one of the few shows on… Read more »
I too enjoyed Outsourced and will definitely miss it! If NBC would have advertised the timeslot change, poorly handled (I missed at least 3 episodes), I feel it would have had the ratings needed for a second season.
As an indivdiual who lived in Mumbai for a year (my company didn’t “Outsource” any jobs simply opened up a new location to invest in foreign markets) — I was of course drawn to “Outsourced” and often found myslef saying “Yep been there, done that.” when Todd would experience something such as the gastrointestinal disorder or the celebration of Holi (giant paintball episode). Gotta say I am extremely disappointed…
I really can’t believe that Chicago Code is being discontinued because it didn’t get a big enough audience. I find that hard to believe. Off the Map wasn’t my favorite show after the first episode, but I gave it another chance and it turned out to be one of my most fav shows. 🙁
I was a fan of Off the Map….I hate it when they suck you into a show then don’t allow it to run more than one season. If it didn’t fly maybe it was because you gave it a terrible time slot. I am sad to see it go too.
I loved Lie to Me, so did many other people I know. I agree with the comments about Law & Order being one of the best shows, although I enjoy C.I., however with the original cast. I must confess I miss medium too 🙁
Brothers & Sisters ?? I watched every sunday… What else is on at 10 pm on sunday?? I will also miss The Defenders… These are both good shows…. And they did not even give Off The Map a chance. WOW 3 shows I am going to miss… LOVE The Closer Wish Kira would stay it is the Best Show on right now….
I’m sick about brothers and sisters. Adding Beau Bridges was awesome addition the whole problem which became mine which I just dvr one of them was CSI MIAMI a top audience for years and in ratings became a rival
