What’s This TV Show About?
A CBS law-enforcement procedural, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. The crime drama series follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Season 14 Ratings
The 14th season of Criminal Minds averaged a 0.76 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.67 million viewers. Compared to season 13, that’s down by 23% and 19%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.
On January 10, 2019, Criminal Minds was renewed for a 15th and final season. The 10 episodes will begin airing January 8, 2020. Stay tuned for further updates.

Will CBS cancel or renew Criminal Minds for season 15? Thus far, CBS has only ordered 15 episodes for this year, but that could change. If the network does want a 15th season though, the studio will have to make new deals with the cast, which means higher costs. Right now, I think it is likely to end, so I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for Criminal Minds cancellation or renewal news alerts.

I love criminal minds. Greatest show ever.
Please don’t leave after season 15. I’ve watched this since it started. Criminal Minds is excellent. I’ll hate to see it go.
Keep it, the characters all well rounded, and keep you thinking to the end on who & why.
Please do not Cancel Criminal Minds. Bring back Shemar Moore and put it back on at 9pm. Your ratings will come back up
Please keep Criminal Minds going. I really liked when the time for it to air was at 9 o clock in the evening. It is my favorite show hands down.
By the way Shemar Moore was not taken out of Criminal Minds, he left to do the show S.W.A.T because he said it was more like real life, I read an article about it. It would be great if he made an about face to come back to criminal minds, but his show is doing very well so I don’t think that will happen.
I agree with everyone else criminal minds should not be cancelled after season 15, it is one of the best shows on television, although like others I quit watching after Hotch was no longer on the show and that is probably the reason for the low ratings, so if everyone wants this show to continue you need to watch all the new shows even though Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore are no longer part of the cast. I’m still hoping that at some point they will bring Hotch back! I think that would definitely save the series? I just love… Read more »

PLEASE do not cancel this show after season 15! Keep it going! I too have been watchitng this show from day one and it is the best show ever!!
It is soooo not right to cancel Criminal Minds after Season 15!!! This is a weekly series that makes sense, compared to all the other shows that are on that do not, and is based on real life stuff. These actors are so talented and you can really get into it and feel for some of these families that they help. It’s one of the best dramas on CBS! This show should NOT be cancelled! I really hate to see criminal minds cancelled after season 15. I always watch it and reruns. I love the cast. Some of the shows that got renewed are really crap shows. I will continue to watch reruns.
