ABC is still trying to fill that Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot. Many ABC shows have been given that timeslot and they’ve all been cancelled — Killer Women, Body of Proof and Lucky 7, to name just a few. So, how’s the new Forever TV show doing? Will it break the trend or be cancelled as well?
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The series got off to an okay start, following the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars on a Monday night. It attracted a 1.7 rating with 8.59 million viewers. The following night, in its permanent timeslot, the demo rose slightly but viewership dropped.

In week two, the ratings tumbled to a 1.4 in the demo with 5.69 million. In week three, they fell even lower and last week’s installment hit new lows with a 1.1 demo rating and 4.81 million viewers.
Just four weeks into the season and this show is already in serious trouble. ABC needs a successful show to fill the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot and it’s clear that Forever isn’t the answer to their prayers. It’s unlikely that they’ll order any installments beyond their initial 13 episode order.
Will all of the episodes air? I suspect that ABC will release the six remaining episodes — probably before the holidays. The network may find other programming to air in the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot during at least some of November sweeps however.
Either way, unless there’s a miraculous turnaround in the ratings, Forever is as good as cancelled. It’s yet another TV show about an immortal that will see its life cut short.

Love Forever! Ioan Gruffudd was perfectly cast as Henry Morgan. I saw the chemistry among the cast in the very first preview. If anything, move it to a better time slot or day. This is one show that could stand being 90 minutes long, like BBC’s Sherlock, to flesh out the story and characters. KEEP IT!!
The problem this show has is it’s competition, which are Chicago Fire and Person of Interest,( which I love) and I record Chicago Fire, so no room for Forever. Move it if you want it to survive.
KEEP IT!! Give it a chance! If they had canceled Seinfeld after the first very unfunny season, then there would be no Seinfeld diehard fans or Syndication.

I love this show! For what it’s worth, all my mom friends and I adore the lead actor, but as 10 pm is a bit late we watch it next day on hulu. I don’t know if Nielsen counts streaming in it’s ratings. Please don’t cancel!
I have watched all of the shows. The series is evolving for the better. It is now a procedural crime show with the resurrection twist. Characters are becoming well defined. It should stay on for the season to help it further fine tune. I believe it will find its audience.
It’s just OK and nothing original or new. However, I vote for leaving it on at least for the whole season. That way I have one less thing to watch. If they put something good on in it’s place, there would just be one more thing to fill up my DVR.
My wife and I absolutely love this show, we look forward for it every Tuesday night. The actors are great, the comments are funny, and we enjoy the intrigue of the mysterious antagonist that also can live forever. Please keep this going.
Hopefully they keep Forever on but our campaign to save Believe didn’t work and it was a great show too.
Please keep the show. I am a big fan of immortal characters and history. Ioan and Joel are my favorite in this TV series.

I think Forever is a really great tv series with a really cast, esp. Ioan Gruffudd. It is the best new tv series, and I really love watching it. ABC should renew it and keep it on Tuesday nights.

How the hell would you know it sucks if you “never EVER watched that show”?
If you never EVER watched the show, how can you know it totally SUCKS? Are you psychic? Or are you just making a judgment without actually having any facts?
How can you say a show totally sucks without ever having watched it? At least I’ve watched it and decided it’s too by-the-numbers for me. They teased a larger mystery in the beginning then totally let it fall flat. There needs to be another hint or clue or layer towards it every episode and there’s not.
This show does nothing to keep my interest. I have moved on. Whether it is cancelled or kept is of no interest to me.
