Good news for Grimm fans. Deadline reports NBC has renewed the drama for a sixth season.
The series is currently in the middle of its fifth season.
Inspired by Grimms’ Fairy Tales, Grimm stars David Giuntoli as Nick Burkhardt, a homicide detective who battles against supernatural forces. The series also stars Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
The renewal is a little bit surprising. So far, ratings for season six have been middling at best, with an average of .91 in the 18-49 demo and around 3.97 million viewers.

We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons. They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”

I love Grimm. Its an awesome show. The storyline is a little shakey this season. I hope the show stays on for a long time

Love Grimm. Bought all four seasons and watch them over and over. I will get season 5 as soon as it comes out on dvd.
Love Grimm but I wonder if ratings rely only during airing. I can’t always watch it on Friday nights but will catch up on the show OnDemand. Does that count for ratings?
