After three seasons, A&E cancelled the Longmire TV show. Netflix ended up saving the series and ordered a fourth season. Season five is scheduled to launch on September 23rd and you can enter to win one of three copies of season four on DVD.
Here’s the DVD set’s official description:
The new season finds unflappable Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and his deputies trying to put the troubling events of the past behind them. The mysterious White Warrior who tormented Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is dead, Walt’s best friend Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is a free man, Longmire’s right-hand deputy Victoria “Vic” Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is newly divorced, and the mystery of Walt’s wife’s murder is seemingly resolved. However, just as it looks like a second chance is truly possible for everyone; the opening of the new casino on the Reservation brings dark new problems to Walt’s corner of Wyoming. And his fresh start is further threatened as it becomes clear that some people cannot truly move on until they have either forgiven past injustices or avenged them.
“We are delighted to release Longmire: The Complete Fourth Season on Blu-ray and DVD,” said Rosemary Markson, WBHE Senior Vice President, Television Marketing. “With this release, fans will be able to add the contemporary Western’s thrilling fourth season to their collection to watch and share in superior viewing quality.”
Based on the “Walt Longmire” mystery novels written by best-selling author Craig Johnson, Longmire is executive produced by Hunt Baldwin (The Closer), John Coveny (The Closer), Greer Shephard (The Closer, Major Crimes, Nip Tuck) and Michael M. Robin (The Closer, Major Crimes, Nip Tuck). Starring Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bailey Chase, Cassidy Freeman and Adam Bartley, this hit drama is produced by The Shephard/Robin Company in association with Warner Horizon Television.
The DVD set goes on sale on September 13th and sells for $24.98 (less on Amazon) but you can try to win one of three copies here.

Walt and Vic ” ugh ” Please don’t make them a couple.
I like Branch Connally because you don’t know if he’s a good guy or bad. He will do bad stuff for the approval his father then turn around and walt because it’s the right thing to do.
It is almost impossible to pick a single favorite character from this series. They are so well-written and exquisitely played by some of the most talented actors of our times. It is almost like asking me to pick a favorite child. I will say I do so admire Vic Moretti as a strong, equal and honest female role. Longmire has never felt like “T.V.”to me. The cinematography is unique and the scenery breaks my heart with its beauty. This feels like art. A project of love. Mostly I am shocked when the end comes and I realize I was not… Read more »
I love Walt, Vic & Henry the best, all in different ways. The season finale of Season 2, Bad Medicine, had great parts for all three of them and made me wish Season 3 would start the next week. I don’t have access to it now so would love to catch up with the whole gang in Season 4.
Branch even thou he died in season 4 which is what made me hooked to the show no matter what he did he always meant good. His suicide note made me tear up cause i had someone take their life for similar reasons.
Walt is my favorite character.
I like Walt’s character
Henry Standing Bear is my favorite Character on “Longmire”. Love his take on everything!
Walt is an amazing character. His journey so far has been amazing and I’m looking forward to what develops for him. A favorite moment of Walt ws from season one when we first see Walt. His entrance told us so much about him.
