It was an okay start for Ashley Judd and company. Former occupant Wipeout had been attracting a 1.5 in the demo and it’s of course important to remember that the debut was opposite American Idol. In the fall, Charlie’s Angels also debuted in the 8pm timeslot with a 2.1 in the demo and was cancelled not too long afterward because the numbers dwindled downward. Will the same happen to Missing? Stay tuned.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Missing TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

please dont cancel missing its THE BEST SHOW ON ABC,,And hOW DARE U LEAVE US WITH THAT ENDING AND THEN CANCEL THE SHOW,,,THATS TERRIBLE TO DO YOUR VIEWERS LIKE THAT!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!
If you cancel this show a lot of people will stop watching ABC; my entire office is upset over cancelling this show. The time slot is poor for this type of show. The more intellegent viewers have more time later in the evening to sit and watch something interesting. 8PM is a bad time for this.
First of all, ABC was lucky to get Ashley Judd to agree to do a TV series. If the show is not doing well with ratings, then blame it on the chosen time slot or the writing.
Certainly the actors were all very good. ABC should rethink this one.
Please don’t cancel this show. It is one on the best I’ve seen for a long time. Lots of suspense and action. Ashley Judd is suited for this part and is a great actress.
PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THE SHOW. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING IT EVERY WEEK. MY FRIENDS ALSO LOVE THE SHOW. IF IT IS CANCELLED, IT WILL BE MISSED.
love the show missing hope it comes back.
I LOVE “THE MISSING”. ASHLEY JUDD IS A GREAT ACTRESS. I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING HER ON TELEVISION. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY DANCING OR SINGING SHOWS ANYMORE. PLEASE LEAVE THIS SHOW. CHANGE THE TIME BUT DO NOT TAKE THIS EXCITING AND THRILLING PROGRAM OFF.
Pease do not cancel this show! Love it
I love the show and watch it every week hoping they reconsider.
Cheryl
Please do not cancel MISSING.
Maybe a later time slot would be good.
Thanks.
Please do not cancel “Missing” best show that’s been on television in quite sometime and its holds my interest, good actors, love the storyline.
Please do not cancel Missing, this has been a very good show to watch & kept my interest, along with good actors
Pls do not cance, best show & actors seen in along time.
Do not cancell this show its the best show i’ve seen on TV on a long while….Eveyone of my family and co-workers are hooked on this show…..
Missing is an excellent show. Great acting and fantastic storyline. Problem is the network keeps moving the day and time. Pick a time and leave it. The audience will grow when you have a great show like Missing!
DO NOT CANCEL. I love this show. It is one of the best shows on tv these days. The reality shows might be attracting the younger age ranges, but I can guarantee you it does not attract the older age ranges like “Missing” does. The characters are great and the storyline keeps e glued to my seat. Move the time slot if you have to, but give it a chance.
If you do cancel it…. do us a favor and plot a decent ending for us so we dont have to wonder what happened.
I agree. If you MUST cancel this show, please give us a decent ending.
Thanks.
