It appears NBC wasn’t exactly pleased with the ratings for their new sitcom One Big Happy and now they’ve cancelled it.
On the One Big Happy sitcom, a pair of childhood best friends — he’s straight (Nick Zano) and she’s a lesbian (Elisha Cuthbert) — are still single as adults and decide to have a baby together. But then, he meets and marries the love of his life (Kelly Brook) and a different kind of family is born. The rest of the cast includes Rebecca Corry, Chris Williams, and Brandon Mychal Smith.
The series debuted to mediocre ratings in mid-March and then the numbers got much worse. The first season of six episodes ended up averaging a 1.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 3.92 million viewers.
The peacock network has aired all of One Big Happy’s installments and now, we know there won’t be a second season.
What do you think? Did you like One Big Happy on NBC? Do you think that it should have been renewed or cancelled?
Make more seasons. way better than what’s out now . I just watch the whole season without stopping. wish there were more
this was a good show I don’t know why they didn’t do a season 2 or continue it yall really need to I loved the show you need to bring it back
It’s funny and has hot women in it. Bring it back! Maybe Hulu needs to pick it up.
Love the show bring it back
I love the show!! They should definitely bring it back… No other show like it
In this era where I have to admit sitcoms are truly neither funny not amusing it is a crying shame to cancel such a breath of fresh laughter. This just goes to show…the industry has no interest in what is good but what they want to brain wash us into thinking what is good tv. Unfortunately for us individual thinkers….One Big Happy is a magnaimus hit and should be renewed immediately.

I think this show is super funny and I loved it and wish they would bring it back and continue it. I really want to know what happened next. Also I think it was a stupid idea to cancel it. Sorry but I do.
This show is pretty funny…i wish they would bring it back and give it a chance…
