Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis) will return to television to work on a new case next season. ABC has renewed their Secrets and Lies TV show for a second season.
On the first season of Secrets and Lies, a house painter and family man discovers a neighbor boy’s dead body in the woods and he quickly goes from being a Good Samaritan to a murder suspect. The lives of everyone around him are turned upside down by the ensuing police investigation and media attention. Did he really do it? The season stars Lewis, Ryan Phillippe, Lewis, KaDee Strickland, Natalie Martinez, Dan Fogler, Indiana Evans, and Belle Shouse.
The series did pretty well in its first season, averaging a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.66 million viewers.
Some fans were upset by the way that the first season’s story ended but it’s looking doubtful that season two will bring any addition resolution. Word is that Lewis’ character will be the only one returning.

I enjoyed season one and I was looking forward to season 2. I like all the actors and want them to return. They made the show worth watching. There is so much story left to be told. Can’t understand why no one wants to return except Juliette Lewis. Ben, Kristy, the kids, and Matt all made it the good show that it was. I am disappointed. There is so little to watch that is good and now we have lost another worthwhile weekly program.
Such a sad ending! However no matter how it ended it would have been sad. Perhaps in another season the original cast will return and bring a better resolve?
No, will not watch season 2, because season 1 is unfinished, there is no resonance to watch the 2nd season, sorry ABC you have lost a few viewers I’m afraid.
I just red that lewis’s character is the only one returning, the show did soo well why would they do such a thing!! That would totally ruin it!! When u get a great show like this & all the characters were amazing why would u not bring them back? Ur ratings will go down, the show will do amazing If u keep all original characters so please NO CHANGES!!
This is the best show EVER, CAN’T WAIT TILL IT COMES BACK!! PLZ BRING BACK ALL ORIGINAL CAST MEMBERS, THIS IS THE BEST SHOW I THINK ON TV & THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN OUT OF ALL MOVIES AND SHOWS I THINK IT IS THE GREATEST, PLEASE HURRY BACK I HATE THAT ITS OVER FOR THE SEASON!! WILL NOT MISS AN EPISOD!!
I will NEVER watch season 2 because season 1 needs to be completed! Ben apparently is dead. Daughter needs to be arrested! unbelievable!

I got hooked on this show, so I’m looking for this week to see the kid get nailed and I’m like WTF? Its OVER seriously? They need to wrap up this story before starting another. With creative writing they could develop Abby’s character like Ben Crawford. Make her the main character. Have them on the run, Have her true sociopathic personality come to light having mom scared as hell. Maybe someone else turns up dead. COME ON PEOPLE. LOL
I pretty much figured out that the little girl did it since she had so much jealousy and rage all the way through the show. but it’s the original characters don’t come back I doubt I’ll be watching it especially without Ryan Philippe

cirnel was the greatest cop ever! Can’t wait to see her in the next season. I hope she gets to nail her suspect then. I loved her portrail of the cop she played. It’s my favorite show.

I loved the first season and will definetly watch the second. I love all the characters, so that might not work if there are too many changes.
