I have never liked Sherlock Holmes stories until I saw this series. I loved it and actually got my 16 year old son to watch – he never wants to watch Masterpiece Theater!

I’ve seen one episode so far and don’t know when I will have opportunity to watch another but that problem would not exist if I had my own DVD(s).
How did I miss this one? Love BBC series, they remind me of television back in the 60s – just straightforward story telling with great characters. Hope they will replay Season one!

Love the few episodes I saw on Masterpiece Mystery.
This is a great update on the Holmes Legend.
Benedict Camberbatch has got to rate alongside Jeremy Brett or Basil Rathbone as Holmes. Martin Freeman as Watson is a brilliant foil and Moffatt and Gatiss have put some great touches bringing the original Holmes canon up to date.
I would watch this over and over again…but then of ocurse I would need a copy of it:)
