USA Network has pulled the trigged on Shooter. Deadline reports the network has cancelled the TV show after three seasons.
Based on the Stephen Hunter novel and 2007 film, the action drama centers on expert marksman Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe), who is coaxed back into action for the most important mission of his lifetime. The cast also includes Omar Epps, Shantel VanSanten, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and Jesse Bradford.
Currently in its third season, Shooter has dropped considerably in the ratings since it debuted in 2016. So far, season three is averaging a .19 rating in the 18-49 demo and 738,000 viewers. That’s a nearly 45% drop compared to season two.
Although USA Network has cancelled Shooter, there is still hope for the series. According to Deadline, producer Paramount Television is shopping the TV show around to other networks.

Please you must find someone to continue this show… Shooter is by far the most intense show I’ve had the pleasure of watching…. It has to continue… Tomorrow cannot be the final show… It just can’t… You must realize allot of people binge watch 2 or 3 episodes cuz there’s also life to do… But make no mistake everyone I know lives this show….
We binge watched it until season 3 started, and we never missed an episode! Have to know what happens next after the season 3 finale!!! Ryan Phillippe is fantastic as Bob Lee Swagger!!!
Love the show! Really hope for a 4th season. So few shows are really engaging and keep you on the edge of your seat but this show does it every episode.

While somewhat predictabl,Shooter provides solid wholesome entertainment. The underlying patriotism sacrifice and loyalty is a message that is missing in many shows today.
Rogue elements and governmental conspiracies are the stuff movie franchises are made of.
One of the best shows on TV presently. I never miss an episode. PLEASE get this onto another network for Season 4.
