When NBC cancelled Star Trek after three short seasons, not even Mr. Spock could have guessed that it would spawn a string of successful movies, TV spin-offs, and virtually a planet full of merchandise. There’s now so many different “flavors” of Trek available that there’s something for everyone.
But, which Star Trek series is your favorite? Who’s the best captain? Are you psyched for the new movie? Would you like to see a movie featuring one of the TV show casts or maybe all of them mixed together?

I’d love to see a Star Trek: Starfleet Academy TV show on the CW, CBS or Cartoon Network; that would be a great show, plus it would get the ‘Next Generation’ of young people interested in the Star Trek franchise-moreso than a new movie with the original characters.
