As fans of The Glades know all too well, the TV series was cancelled by A&E after four seasons, leaving a big unresolved cliffhanger. TV Line’s Matt Mitovich recently asked star Kiele Sanchez for her thoughts.
Since The Glades was cancelled (and no one I know that watched the show can figure why), will it ever come out who shot Jim on his wedding day? –Peggy
Having already asked Matt Passmore for his take, I more recently asked Kiele Sanchez if she knew who gunned down her TV groom. “I actually like to spread the rumor that [Callie’s] son shot Jim. But no, I have no idea who did it,” said the actress, who is now the female lead on DirecTV’s Kingdom (premiering Oct. 8).
Beyond that, Sanchez had no “optimistic news” to offer regarding any follow-up. As for her own Season 5 wish list, she hoped to see Manus’ and Carlos’ home lives explored, as well as see what married life is like for Callie, Jim and “a kid going through the awful teenage years.”
What do you think? How do you think the cliffhanger should have been resolved? Would you liked to have seen Jim and Callie as a married couple?
I’m truly upset this show was cancelled. I want to know who shot Jim. I enjoy Jim catching the bad guys. I think Netflix should own this show. RENEW PLEASE
PLEASE NETFLIX
I would love for this to continue I was so into this all I could you I wait to see the next and the next and the next and the next and now it’s all gone and this is just absolutely horrible I just want to cry please please pretty please can we get a season 5
I hate how the cancelled the series, I was looking forward to seeing Callie’s ex husband who may have shot Jim or Jims mother. Since she was acting all weird that day.
I have written a storyline for a Glades Movie finale, but I hesitate to write a complete script on speculation. Shame to leave the series in such a mess, tho.
PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THE SHOW GOING AND A&E DON’T WONT IT SELL IT TO NETFLEX OR SOMEONE WHO WILL KEEP IT GOING I THINK THE FBI GUY WHO WAS TALKING TO JIM SHOT HIM OR CALLIE’S EX MOTHER IN LAW
Yes it a very good show
I think you can make more seasons of Glades it was a very good show a lot of people watched it and a lot of people were pissed off when you cancel it
I loved this show, and just as everything was about to work out, A&E shot it down. They did keep Longmire, which bores me to tears. What were they thinking? There were many ways to continue to explore this story line. Or at least end it on a high note. TV shows have gotten so bad and unpredictable that Netflix is filming its own shows. Maybe they will look into continuing this one.
Bring it back it is so stupid you can’t finish the series out.
I’m so glad I watched the whole series on Netflix so I didn’t have to sit thru advertising only to be totally disappointed by a “cliffhanger” with no continuance! One more reason I’ve practically given up on today’s Follywood. I’ve better things to do with my golden years! Good riddance!!
I found it rather disappointing or rather poor judgement by those who cancelled the series. You seemed to have had enough viewers!!
Yes for Jim and Callie getting married, resolving the almost murder etc… isn’t there ever a happy ending!! There’s way too much of the other!
There seemed to be plenty of room for more character and story development.
Oh well, on to the next….
This pissed me off . I got hooked on the series and it just ends! What were they thinking? This is bull crap.
After gettting hooked on the program, yes i would like to see them married. Every episode led to the development of thst relationship so it is hughe let down for viewers now to end on a positive note.
I would have liked to have seen Jim and Callie get married; that would have made a great last episode. I would still like to know who killed Jim.
Callies ex husband Ray was in the witness protection program but escaped, so I think Ray shot Jim
Yes I would like to see the wedding and resolution to the murder. Everything I like gets canceled, I hate that.
I want to see them get married they make a wonderful couple and I want them to catch who shot him.
