Once again, NBC is launching a new TV show in the timeslot following The Voice. While the ratings are always very positive in the beginning, the numbers frequently plunge once the series is moved to another night. Some of these shows have been renewed, some have been cancelled. Will Timeless see a second season? Stay tuned.
An action-adventure series, Timeless begins as a mysterious criminal (Goran Visnjic) steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America by changing the past. The country’s only hope is an unexpected team of a history professor (Abigail Spencer), a soldier (Matt Lanter), and a scientist (Malcolm Barrett) as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime to stop the villain. The rest of the cast includes Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I am from England, also me and nearly all my friends are obsessed with this show we really hope there is a season 2 lol please do a season too for some 14-15-year-olds over here because we literally have no life.
Great show with good acting and writing. Hopefully the show will have a 2nd season.
Great show please leave it on the air. Perhaps the placement of the show would do better in another time slot.
I think Timeless is a well written and acted show. It is my hope that NBC will give the show a 2nd season. If NBC does not renew perhaps NETFLIX or some other channel will see the a quality of this show. I think the placement next to the Apprentice does not match the audiences of either show. The Apprentice viewers are not likely to watch Timeless.

My family loves the show. Ages 23 up to 65. Very entertaining, great writing and actually educational. Hard to find good clean shows the family can watch and enjoy. PLEASE bring on season 2 !
