TV show description:
Based on the BBC show of the same name, this TV series follows a trio of twenty-something roommates who happen to be a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf. They struggle to keep their dark secrets from the world while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.

Aidan Waite (Sam Witwer) has been a vampire since the Revolutionary War and now works as a nurse at Suffolk County Hospital in Boston. He likes having in a job where he can do some good and help people. He also finds comfort in helping lay people to rest, helping them find the peace in death that he will never know.

Funny and neurotic, Josh Levison (Sam Huntington) saw his bright future hijacked when he was turned into a werewolf. He had to abandon his family and the life he’d once known with no explanation. He established a lonely existence on the fringes of society, escaping to the woods each full moon for his excruciating transformation into a werewolf.

When he met Aidan, Josh started to relax and was able to begin rebuilding a somewhat normal life. With Aidan’s help, Josh secured a job as an orderly in the hospital. Though it’s nothing close to the future he had in medical school, Josh takes solace that at least he’s working in the medical profession.

Growing up, Sally Malik (Meaghan Rath) was often forced to be tough and, as a result, she became a young woman who wouldn’t take a lot of flack. She’s vivacious, smart, funny and driven. Sally envisioned herself working at the United Nations or, at the very least, going to graduate school. While in college, she fell in love with Danny and they became engaged right after graduation.

Sally and Danny (Gianpaolo Venuta) moved into the townhouse that was to later be occupied by Josh and Aidan. After Sally’s premature death, she begins haunting it as a ghost. Her early demise finds her floundering for answers.

James Bishop (Mark Pellegrino) is armed with power and knows how to use it. Bishop is above the law as lieutenant and leader of a vicious vampire legion in Boston. And though his devoted cronies cater to his every whim, Bishop won’t rest until he’s able to lure Aidan back into his fold of thirsty blood hunters.

Series Finale

Episode #52 — There Goes the Neighborhood – Part III
Sally makes a major sacrifice to keep two of her roommates from killing each other.
First aired: April 7, 2014.

Good going syfy finally a show the whole family likes and you take it off the air. Defiance, Dominion, Merlin, and Being Human if you are trying to loose ratings you are doing a good job. The only thing left is to eliminate Syfy itself. YAH SYFY

I have no idea why they’d cancel “Being Human” (US) when they could always cancel ANY number of shows & I would be pleased. There’s only a few reasons I watch TV nowadays. Here’s a list of shows (some brand spankin’ new, some cancelled & some yet for renewal…I hope) that I love & have enjoyed watching

• True Blood (which is going off the air as well. I’m hating life already.)
• The Secret Circle (this one I still have hope will be picked up by Syfy.)
• Supernatural (they could go to season 20, I’d still watch as long as they never replace Sam, Dean, or Castiel.)
• Being Human (why are you doing this?!? AIDAN + SALLY FOREVER!!!)
• Defiance (haven’t played any of the games but I’m madly in love with it & look forward to more of it. Much, much more. And I’m gonna buy the game when I can get the Special Deluxe Edition)
• Spartacus (which was one of the best shows on TV of all time to me)
• Buffy the Vampire Slayer (which I hope they NEVER remake because it was brilliant!!!)
• Angel (having one of the most emotional episodes I’ve ever seen in a show.)
• Firefly (which, I gotta admit, I never watch until I saw it on Netflix. Then, I wanted to riot!)
• Dollhouse (seriously, some people just don’t like Eliza Dushku & Joss Whedon… BUT I DO!!!)
• Law & Order: SVU (It was all about Bensen & Stabler. Now, it’s all about Bensen!!…but ai still miss Stabler)
• American Horror Story (started watching “Coven” before any of the others & fell madly in love with the show. Thank God for Netflix because I understood everything after catching up with the series in under a week before the season finale of AHS:C. Probably the best supernatural show on television.)
• Dominion (as soon as I saw Anthony Head, I was interest. They had me at Giles.)

Now, even after typing out all of this, I can’t understand why they’d do that, unless they plan on having more Reality Shows that I’ll never watch. I’ve noticed that’s become the fad. I’m praying it’ll pass, sooner rather than later , because I’m really getting tired of them getting rid of my favorite shows.

I can’t believe that Being Human is not being renewed. It was a great show and the actors really did work well together. The chemestry between all of them was what I looked forward to every week. I agree with ChadUP, with all three characters there could be endless possibilities on story lines to explore. I will miss you, Being Human :(

I loved the combo, I know sometimes with the threre main characters their were one too many different storylines to follow.. but lack of ratings? come on… from what i gather it was no award-winning series but come-on it was a vamp, werewolf and a ghost… literally endless amounts of storylines and angles they could have followed and based on the digging i did, It wasnt a ratings issue, something to do with the producers and money.. big surprise right? but you dont give the mon. night 9pm timeslot to a flop! and the “lack of money” please… have you seen the defiance series? all those graphics cant be cheap and nobodys buzzing about it the next morning.. Def. a series i will miss and Besides the awesome scary movie marathon halloween time i wont be watchin syfy for a while.. but hey… Fox cancelled family guy and it came back from the dead… and yes i know its no Family guy- cult-Status… but the cheesy appeal it had made it what it was! most of the shows on this list were flat-lined to begin with but these t.v exe.’s need to have there head examined.. remember when subaru made a Commercial ad based around josh and nora? i dont think they would throw that kind of backing behind a “flop” technically yes it was a remake from the uk series, but it was still fresh! and hollywood basically has given up and it re-making things from the 80’s… wtf? my beloved history channel has been taken over by reality shows! i remember saying what happened to the music on mtv? then they came up with mtv2 for beavis and butthead, music videos, etc.. well… Remember when mtv2 used to play music?!?! now we have teen mom marathon’s… wake up tv and movie exe.’s to me its not just a tv show, lifes hard enough guys…2 or 3 tv show’s i look forward to watching during the week after working hard with my wife are gone, including our fav,
Being Human.
