Can the sons of J.R. and Bobby Ewing attract big ratings like their daddies once did with the original Dallas? On the new TNT series, there’s certainly more family fighting at SouthFork than ever before. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick Duffy.
The TV show ratings are the best way to tell if Dallas will be cancelled or renewed for a second season. The first season of TNT’s Dallas airs Wednesday nights. There are 10 episodes.
These figures will be updated as the weeks progress so be sure to bookmark and return to this page:

The TV series may have debuted on the 13th but it certainly wasn’t an unlucky day for the cast and crew of Dallas. It was the most-watched TV show in its timeslot on both broadcast and cable. It had the best demo number at 9pm and, at 10pm, was tied for first place in the demo with a CSI rerun on CBS — the original Dallas’ network.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
What do you think? Do you like the new Dallas TV series? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for season two?

I like both old and new Dallas. I just wish they would make Sue Ellen have a Lovelife and I wish they would show more Relationships story then Oil story. Too much Oil talk can be Boring! I’d love for Ray and other old timers to be on again too. Other then this..it’s pretty good!
Love it! Best thing on TV for years! Cinematography, camera shots and love the old cast being brought back with the new cast, great ensemble.
I am thrilled to be able to watch Dallas again! My favorite show ever!!!
Look forward to it every week Thanks TNT
o hope its stays on but they cant compETTE with the real DALLAS
Love this show you have to renew it. There aren’t very many shows worrth watching anymore. I am so sick of the reality tv–very boring.
The new Dallas is just as good as the old show. JR once again makes the show. I don’t know about anyone else but I do not like Christopher’s character. I say he should be replaced
Please do not take Dallas off the air. My husband and I both loved the original Dallas and we love this one too. Look forward to watching it every week together.
I like Julie Gonzalo as Rebecca S. character , Christopher’s wife. I hope her character will not play as bad wife in the future. As Chistophers wife fit her perfect in her personality she’s pretty and can act good. Jesse Metcalfe is my favorite too his a good actor, his personality fit good to his character. He seems very nice guy in person . Julie and him is my favorite in the show. They are all good actors, very moving the way they play their role and the script writing is so good and exciting not boring and make me look forward to watch every week. Dallas is the only drama series I watch. I hope Julie’s character will not change (very much love with Christopher).
I love the new Dallas and hopes it stays on for an long run. I would like to see add Raquel Welch to the show maybe as JR’s new wife. Raquel was on CSI Miami not to long ago and she was superb as a Mafia Matriach.
I did not miss one episode of the old series. I hope this trend continues….I still LOVE DALLAS!
How can you no to J.R.? He still ROCKS!!!!!
This is the most fun I’ve had watching TV in years. Thanks TNT for bringing something “NEW” to TV. The writing is awesome and people are talking about sports on TV plus Dallas at work!
The only negative I can think of is the actress that plays Elena is not as talented as the rest of the cast.
Best show on TV in 20 years, It bette get renewed!
Why is tonight’s episode (June 27, 2012) listed as episode 5? I’ve been watching closely and recording them all, and I cannot find an episode 4. Did I miss something?
carol ยป It’s the fourth episode.
the new Dallas is great. The original Dallas was my favorite television series, but the new Dallas may even prove to be better; and that is saying alot in my book!!!
J.R.’s first secretary was Julie (Tina Louise who was murdered on the show. I think one of the users is referring to Sly who was J.R.’s secretary the last nine or ten seasons of the original.
I love the new series and I am genuinely excited about tommorrow night’s fourth episode. Larry Hagman is still the man and let’s be patient concerning some of the older characters, they will come in due time. We have already seen a cameo of Ray and Lucy and Cliff was on a lot last week and will be on Wednesday too.
What I like about the show is it doesn’t feel like rehash tv, it is a continuation. I am not trying to be rude toward Chris’s comments but I have a feeling he didn’t watch the original either. If you didn’t like it great, but no reason to put down a show you haven’t seen. You have a good mix of some of the old favorites and then the next generation too. They don’t try to hide the fact Larry, Patrick and Linda are older (though Linda Gray has found the fountain of youth) and are now the elder statesmen. John Ross is just like his daddy, it is what he knew and Christopher is just like Bobby.
I hope they go on and renew and start shooting season 2 episodes soon. If they only air it in the summer, the momentum will wear off. The show is hot right now. Several of my coworkers have been talking about it the last few weeks, that’s the way it was in the old days of Dallas.
