NBC is making some changes to their new fall schedule — switching out one medial drama for another.
Heartbreaker, which had been slated for the Tuesdays at 9pm timeslot, has been replaced by mid-season medical drama Chicago Med (a spin-off of Chicago Fire).
The reason? Melissa George, the star of Heartbreaker, is pregnant in real-life so they’ve had to revise the production schedule which has necessitated the show’s premiere be delayed until later in the season.
What do you think? Are you glad that Chicago Med’s premiere has been moved up? Do you plan to check out either new show?
So, it’s like Dick Wolf’s take on Grey’s Anatomy/ER?
Chicago Med should become a hit in the 9 p.m. Tuesday night time slot this Fall benching Heartbreaker until mid-season despite Melissa George’s real life pregnancy. Blame NPH for shelving Chicago Fire until November.
I can’t wait for Chicago Med as part of the “Chicago Fire, PD” series…
I really wouldn’t mind if they got rid of the Chicago PD.
Sorry Marie but Chicago P.D. is a great show. I just can’t see getting yet another Dr. / Hospital setting show.
