It was a pretty good start for the show — not a big hit and not a bomb out of the gate.

Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.

Yes it should be back for a second season. There are so many that do love the show. Forget the ratings. What about the tv audience that love what this program? This about this part of the viewers that love this show. I have no reason to watch TNT now.

I believe that who ever takes the ratings into consideration is an IDIOT! because they think we do not have a mind of our own, and can decide what we want or like to see. Some of us are sooooo sick of REALITY t.v. not everyone like’s or gives a **** about the Kardashian tramps and ho’s and the like’s of them, we enjoy a good show with a great cast and story lines, but we know TNT doe not give a **** of what we the fan’s like, they forget we the FAN;S can make or break them.

King and Maxwell is a very good show. Why would TNT cancel it??? This network is as bad as A&E for cancelling The Glades with a disgusting ending. Why not pick up that show and end it right.

Lorena we are wasting our time, TNT does not give a dam about what the viewr’s want and like, so all we can do is just stop watching that STUPID uncaring network , and find a better one, like USA.

I agree, we prefer TNT keep King & Maxwell than that STALE and sooo predictable Dallas or the New ? one they are promoting “Mob City” we think the Mob has been so played out, we don’t need another stupid show telling us how ruthless those people were/are we all know. That is old news, and then they have from what I have seen on the promos, nothing but unkowns, this house will not be watching!!!

I, think TNT does not understand or care about what we as viewer’s like and want to watch and cannot tell us or force those show’s down our throats, after all they are not the only network we can watch. There are other choices, I use to like TNT but now, not so much.

I really wish TNT would renew King & Maxwell, they did’nt even give it a chance, yet they gave that stale Dallas one. I hate TNT AND WILL TELL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO WATCH YOUR CRUMMY STATION ANYMORE! We love Jon Tenney, and we even put up watching that UGLY, BIG MOUTHED IRRITATING Kyra Sedgwick just to see him! So bye-bye TNT.

I am very angry and disapponted that “King and Maxwell” has been cancelled..I was “hooked” right away…I thought it fit well with “Major Crimes” as its lead in…yet TNT as well as other networks keep cancelling good shows and leave shows I find questionable at the very least they keep on going…that just leaves “Major Crimes” as far as I’m concerned on TNT …I was so disapponted to lose “Leverage” now they won’t give “King and Maxwell” a fair chance…as for that ratings nonsense…so no one that doesn’t fit in that age bracket has an opinion…”King and Maxwell” deserves another chance..great show…great cast…please renew !!!

I am very angry and disappointed too, Linda. We really really enjoyed this show! Too many good shows are canceled because of “age” ratings. I really hope some one else picks it up, advertises it more and gives it a fair chance!

This show was hands down my favorite new show of the summer, and it should be a no brainer for TNT to renew this show. After only 10 episodes I am completely hooked. They did a phenominal job in casting for this show. If TNT would just give this show a second season and a little TLC I’m sure the ratings would definitely go up. It always angers and surprises me that some of the worst shows on any network get renewed year after year while little gems like King and Maxwell end up on the chopping block fighting to be renewed. I truly hope we get several more seasons of this show in the future. This show alone actually made me look forward to Monday nights! So please, please, please give this show a second season, and a third…fourth…fifth….etc.

Love the show. It should be an annual summer series. It’s a drama, yet fresh and intriguing.
Love King, Maxwell, Edgar, FBI dudes and Bennie. Secret Service backgrounds with FBI interaction and supporting players, Edgar and Bennie, give the show many refreshing layers. Show has something for everyone, casual viewing entertainment, and yet remains interesting for those who like to see subtle layers of personal agenda. Current politics offer great fodder for script ideas for many years to come.
