TV show description:
What began as a short film by creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone has become a hit animated comedy series. The show features the lives of four third grade boys who live in South Park, Colorado.

There’s Stanley “Stan” Marsh (voiced by Parker), who is as logical as he is responsible; green ear-cap clad Kyle Broflovski (voiced by Stone) who is also intelligent but more naïve; and Kenneth “Kenny” McCormick (Stone), whose speech is only understood by his friends and stranger yet, dies in each episode.

While the death of Kenny makes for interesting episodes, no one provides quite as much color or entertainment as the boys’ friend, Eric Cartman (Parker). This sweet-faced, plump nine-year-old little boy has an incredibly foul mouth and rude demeanor and constantly puts down his friends for their religious upbringing or economic status. Yet, he’s a leader for his friends and proves to be a savvy businessman in their times of trouble.

Episodes feature the boys getting into all sorts of mischief at home, school, and in their hometown. Parker and Stone have used the show as a platform for their own social commentary and the series has never shied away from any hot button issue that might get a laugh or stir up some controversy.
