December 2, 2012 ratings — New episodes: America’s Funniest Home Videos, The Cleveland Show, Once Upon a Time, 60 Minutes, Bob’s Burgers, Revenge, The Amazing Race, American Dad, The Good Wife, and 666 Park Avenue. Sports: NFL over-run, Football Night in America, and Sunday Night Football. Reruns: The Mentalist, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, and Family Guy.
On CBS, football over-run played havoc with the fast affiliate ratings for the network. The over-run attracted a 7.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with nearly 24.0 million total viewers. It was followed by 60 Minutes with a 4.0 demo rating (+150% week-to-week change) with 16.9 million viewers. The Amazing Race drew a 2.4 in the demo (-4% change) with 10.7 million. The Good Wife then garnered a 1.8 rating (+13% change) with 9.5 million. A repeat of The Mentalist drew a 1.4 in the demo and 8.2 million.
On NBC, Football Night in America filled the first three half hours of the night — a 1.8 rating with 6.0 million, a 3.s rating with 9.6 million, and a 4.9 rating with 14.5 million viewers. At 8:30pm, the Eagles vs the Cowboys game attracted a 6.6 rating with 18.1 million viewers.
On ABC, America’s Funniest Home Videos held steady with a 1.6 rating with 7.4 million. Once Upon a Time did the same, garnering a 3.1 in the demo with 9.1 million. Revenge rose a bit from last week’s season low to a 2.4 in the demo (+9% change) with 7.6 million. Cancelled 666 Park Avenue saw a 17% boost to a 1.4 rating with 4.0 million.
On FOX, the combination of football over-run and a Bob’s Burgers rerun (1.3 rating with 3.5 million) preceded an episode of The Cleveland Show. That drew a 1.6 demo rating (-20% change) with 3.4 million.
A rerun of The Simpsons brought a 1.9 rating with 4.4 million. Bob’s Burgers found a 1.8 rating (-10% change) with 3.9 million. A rerun of Family Guy (1.9 rating with 4.1 million) then preceded a new episode of American Dad which drew a 2.0 in the demo (-5% change) with 4.2 million.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to the returns of the ABC dramas? What were you watching last night?

I think they should ordered a second season of 666 Park Avenue. I think the show’s season finale left way too many things unresolved and it is just not fair not to at least give it an ending that ties up all loose ends. Moreover, I think you need to air it at 9:00pm maybe switch it to help boost the ratings.. Also, I just think some shows have to have time to breath to start seeing all things unfolding and it is like a movie suspense thriller every week but maybe you should try it even during the Revenge winter break and air it 9:00pm on Sunday. I really think timing is leading to lower ratings. I think ABC is producing such a great disappointment to the viewership…
I would rather watch a rerun of The Mentalist then most other shows on Sunday night.
BRING BACK 666 PARK AVE. !!! BY FAR THE MOST STIMULATING SHOW ON !
