What’s This TV Show About?
A martial arts drama airing on the AMC cable channel, Into the Badlands stars Daniel Wu, Marton Csokas, Orla Brady, Sarah Bolger, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham, Oliver Stark, Madeleine Mantock, Ally Ioannides, and Nick Frost. The AMC series takes place centuries into the future, in a feudal society called the Badlands. Season two finds Sunny (Wu) and M.K. (Knight) separated and imprisoned in unlikely places. While M.K. struggles to control his powers, Sunny resolves to fight his way back into the Badlands and find his family, or die trying. Meanwhile, The Widow (Beecham) continues to consolidate power against the other Barons, while a dark threat prepares to exact revenge on them all.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Into the Badlands averaged a 0.79 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.99 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 56% and 48%, respectively. Learn how Into the Badlands stacks up against the other AMC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
In its first season, the Into the Badlands TV show was a top three performer for AMC. Season one averaged a 1.79 rating in the important 18-49 demo and 3.86 million total viewers. Although the season two premiere numbers fell short, the numbers weren’t that bad. Now that it no longer has The Walking Dead as a lead-in, the ratings have plummetted. I suspect Into the Badlands will be renewed for a third season but AMC could easily cancel it. I’ll keep an eye on the ratings and update this page, periodically. Breath taking series movie I have ever seen pleas don’t cancel
What a great show! Only has gotten better from Season 1 to Season 2 and the addition of Nick Frost was an A+ for a good show and only made it Great. Some of the best action sequences and choreographed fight moves ever on a TV screen. I truly hope it’s not a year and a half wait for season 3. If you have not watched yet, binge your ass off for this one. Great cast & show!
The show was very quickly renewed for a season three and 16 episodes. The problem is that we won’t see it until 2018, and season two just finished up.
Why 2018? I mean we will be long forgotten about it, I just watched it now and I was looking forward for season 3. Next year is a long time
This show is awesome! The martial arts & stunts are coriographed better than most kung-fu movies & if the Iron Fist series (Netflix) incorporated similar fight sequences it wouldn’t have had such a poor 1st season review. I think they need to increase the pace of the stories & add more subplots. M.K. needs to get his gift back & have them under control. I don’t know what’s in store for the final episode of season 2 but the show needs more heroes for viewers to invest in. This is one of my FAVORITE shows right now. Season 1 was fantastic and season 2 is proving to be just a great! Please continue with this show for many more seasons:-)

Considering that Humans was renewed after going from a live average rating of a 0.39 to 0.14, the fact that this show hasn’t been renewed yet is ridiculous. Make 15 episodes for season 3 instead of the 10 that season 2 will have, and please make the renewal official, AMC.
Man this show is da bomb, love the storyline and da action.. Please continue da series it was getting better every show.
