Beauty and the Beast fans received sad news on Tuesday. The CW cancelled this series, and it will end after season four. Variety reported Tuesday morning that the network decided to pull the plug on the drama, which stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan.
This series has a very loyal and strong following on social media. Some might say it is this loyal following of “beasties” that kept the show on the air after season two.
The CW moved Beauty and the Beast to summer, and the network then surprised fans by renewing it for a fourth season in February. Season three premiered in June.
No premiere date for the fourth season has been set, but it will likely air at mid-season or next summer.

Beauty and the beast is a great show and I am disappointed in it not be renewed, I hope CW reconsiders cancellation if not maybe someone else will pick it up
I do not want BATB to end but I hope the writing improves in Season 4. It seems like the chemistry is gone between Vincent and Cat

I hope 1 that this renewed for a 4 and 5th season and also that they repeat the season I missed a few episodes this past season.

Such a shame to hear that another thrilling show is ending. When are the exec’s going to listen to the viewers when we love a show? How many more stupid reality shows are going to be kept on and yet the ones that make you think get dropped?
I watch it. I enjoy it, but it seems to be getting slow and tired. So it may be time for it to go, unless the producers and writers can find some way to add interest without just recycling old hazard plots. Besides, the two main characters need to get a life, and both actors can doubtless find something else to do. Let it go, with a good final resolution.
Why would you cancel such a great show? This is one of the best and needs to stay on. Please reconsider.

Beauty and the Beast it’s been a great show I always look forward to watching it everybody that I know I look forward to watching it I can’t imagine why CW just decide not to renew it for season 5 it is a great great show I hope with someone other channel picks it up maybe A&E because the show is excellent. A&E seem to be picking up all the shows and making great series and having great reviews.
