In what will likely go down as the surprise renewal of the season, The CW has ordered a third season of ratings-challenged Beauty and the Beast. The show has performed poorly this season and was even yanked off the schedule a few months ago.
On Beauty and the Beast, a beautiful detective (Kristin Kreuk), navigates her evolving relationship with a handsome doctor (Jay Ryan) who becomes a terrifying beast. Others in the cast are Austin Basis, Brian White, Max Brown, and Nina Lisandrello.
The show is the network’s second-lowest rated series of the season, attracting an average of a 0.2 demo rating and just 770,000 weekly viewers. The show was put on hiatus in March with the remaining six episodes of season two slated to air this summer, beginning June 2nd.
Word is that the season three renewal is a result of strong international sales for CBS (which co-owns the network).

Please don’t cancel. It’s so hard to find a clean show to watch. It’s not like it keeps you on pins and needles on every show. There is a resting place to let you enjoy their lives. I love this show and think this is the BEST SHOW I have ever watched. Please keep it CLEAN. I enjoyed the old BATB years, years ago. Telling my age, but this is the best of the best. I loved this program, it contains everything I need to keep me on the edge of my seat! Wanting more!! I’ve admired the CW for their creativity in the shows they produce and am an avid fan. I hope Beauty and the Beast continues , the cast is amazing as are the writers, I want more!
I realy love this show if they thought season one was good idk how anyone thought different of season two.. I just want to know when it will be on netflix? does anyone know or heard of episodes being aired?

I am thrilled the show has been renewed. I love the chemistry between Catherine and Vincent and now they’ve added another couple to the mix (Tess and JT) which is great. I originally started watching the show on TV and am now watching the reruns on Netflix. Also, it’s nice to see New York above ground and not in the sewers. There’s so much more to NY than sewers. Please continue to keep this show going. More publicity perhaps?
I began watching this show on netflix. I cannot believe I did not watch it when it first started.It is a great take on Beauty and the Beast . The chemistry between the characters are phenomenal, I am surprised that has struggled so. I am hoping that they reconsider the cancellation….There must be room in the CW line up for its continuation.
I hate to admit loving a show…I heard of it i skipped over it a million times, but I work late and sometimes, I give a new show a chance after a glass of wine or two… I binge watched this show… I loved it and I hated it which is good I hated when Catherine and Vincent where apart it just was hard to watch Tori was a had idea so was Alex, too much in a show and it pulls away from the whole destiny thing…The show is good but it needs more promo if its going to… Read more »
I think this is the best Beauty and the beast series,the other one has vincent going through the sewers just to save Catherine Chandler is not so cool.I am glad he is actually above the sewer like a normal guy should be and that they blend in with the people instead of just hanging out in the sewer tunnels.I hope this series would make it to alot of seasons.Please keep the series going,

Actually until I watched this show.. I was starting to think there wasn’t anymore good shows out there.This show is amazing and I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t absolutely fall head over heels in love with this show. I think the cast are absolutely amazing and how can you not fall in love with the bad boy, but deep down a knight in shining armor Vincent <3 I think there show be loads more seasons.
