CBS Orders Additional Second Season Episodes of Code Black
In its first season, Code Black was on the renewal/cancellation bubble. The producers retooled the series, and made cast changes, in order to secure a second season on CBS.
In season one, Code Black averaged a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The show drew an average of 7.11 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
In the renewal press release, CBS reports Code Black is averaging 7.94 million viewers, 2.1/06 in adults 25-54 and 1.5/05 in adults 18-49. The network cites those numbers as Nielsen’s most current ratings (9/19/2016-11/10/2016).
What do you think? Have you been watching Code Black, season two? Do you think it will be cancelled or renewed for a third season?
Please keep this show!! The writing actors/actresses are awesome!! Please please please keep!!!
Don’t cancel this drama. It’s very entertaining and full of heart and soul. Love the characters and stories. It’s on a roll, don’t go cancelling this show.
Love, love, love Code Black….49 years old and looked forward to watching!! Please keep it rolling for us!!
Also would be nice if the network would consider some of us viewers over 50 who know a good show when we see one! If it should get cancelled I would definitely follow it over to Netflix and/or Amazon. But let’s hope that doesn’t happe.
Think it’s the most realistic medical show on the air with just the right amount of drama for their main characters! I love it & think Rob Lowe has made a great addition to the show! Hope it gets renewed.
It’s real stuff that that the average person never sees. all my friends love and we want to fight for it. I will live up my cable and go to Netflix and amazon if you cancel it. That would be so cruel!
I NEVER MISS AN EPISODE. I ANXIOUSLY await every week for the great drama and suberb, occasional perfect humor. hurray to momma and daddy. I love all the characters! keep it! keep it. and take off some of the trashy stupid crap.
I love code black. The best tv show now. please don’t cancel it!!!!!
We love Code Black. We’ve been fans since the start. However,I’m 63,so I guess CBS doesn’t care much about me. I do go shopping, though, being ignored is not too good for the bottom line.
Every time I love a show it gets cancelled. Please don’t cancel and bring Mother back.
I wonder sometimes if it even pays to watch the network shows. I may just have to go to series on Netflix and Hulu. I think they care more about quality these days.
I really like this show, I am 50 so I guess I don’t matter anymore but I wish this would stay on. I enjoy the characters and the drama. Please renew
I will be so devastated if it gets cancelled. The show moves me every single week,I love all the characters, and having Rob Lowe joint the cast was an excellent move!
I want to see more code black shows. I don’t want to see mother leave the show. He helps make the show I feel. Holding for 2-11 show and more.
Watched both season 1 and 2 of Code Black. Good characters and acting. Really enjoyed it. Hope it continues for Season 3
