CBS has announced the third season of its Code Black TV series will premiere on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10:00pm ET/PT. Although Code Black season three will take over the Criminal Minds timeslot, there’s no need to alert the BAU, as its season 13 finale airs the previous week.

A CBS medical drama, Code Black stars Marcia Gay Harden, Boris Kodjoe, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, William Allen Young, Emily Tyra, Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Alyn Lind, Moon Bloodgood, Luis Guzmán and Rob Lowe. The story unfolds in a Los Angeles Emergency Room — one of the most notorious in the country.

CBS ANNOUNCES SPRING SERIES RETURN DATES

“Elementary” Premieres Monday, April 30 at 10:00 PM

“Code Black” Returns to Schedule Wednesday, May 2 at 10:00 PM

CBS today announced spring series premiere dates with modern-day Sherlock Holmes drama ELEMENTARY returning Monday, April 30 (10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT) and medical drama CODE BLACK premiering Wednesday, May 2(10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT).

ELEMENTARY will replace SCORPION following its season finale Monday, April 23 (10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT) and CODE BLACK will replace CRIMINAL MINDS following the conclusion of its season on Wednesday, April 25 (10:00–11:00 PM, ET/PT).
