NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
Crisis is one of the best shows on TV! Lance Grossa me Rachel Taylor are excellent and their detective characters are smart and daring. People watch TV on the internet now instead of just on the network for Nielsen ratings.I hope they at least close the story line out for the viewers. Hopefully USANetwork will pick it up!
My family and I wait all week to see this show and love it. Finally a show you can’t figure out, it actually keeps you guessing. I hate it when tne network refuses to keep shows for a second season allowing more viewers to get pulled in! This is whe we continue to look for cable shows to watch so you have a sliver of hope they will give a show more than one season. For example the bridge and the red road were not perfect in the ratings but they are getting a second shot!!!
Finally, Believe and Crisis are on tonite. Both keep you on the edge of your seat. I’m really glad they’re on, but still not happy those series will end soon.
I can’t believe they are cancelling Crisis that was a great show, come on NBC give the shows a chance.

great show, should stay on nbc needs to re think this one.
This is one of the best dramatic shows I’ve viewed in a very long time. I do not ever right reviews but this cancellation is a mistake. In an era of reality shows this show was refreshing, the acting was great, the actors were outstanding and I looked forward to it weekly.
Networks need to catch up with the times. They must understand people watch shows via DVR and the internet. I watch this show on HULU every Monday. People have lives and can’t always watch a show when it’s on the network.
well said! rating polls are completely fail now days!!
Hoping for an ending of this show since it is being cancelled. Needs to have an ending. Please!
I am so upset that NBC continues to destroy great shows and is quick to cancel with no regard to their fans. Why should we show any loyalty to NBC when they are so quick to tick off loyal viewers. Disgusted with network TV in general. So concerned with profits and that’s all they care about.
My family really liked Crisis. We like that kind if shows……24, NCIS, Blacklist, C overt Afairs… Sad to see Crisis go.
Please don’t cancel crisis the best show ever
I am starting to get used to all the shows I like being canceled. You notice that none of the reality show are getting canceled. I am sick of reality shows. Way to many of them.
I just hope it ends with an actual ending and not open without resolution.
I can’t believe they are cancelling the series! This was one of the best shows on TV — we watched religiously! Super bummed………
