It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I loved the show! I was hoping it would be renewed. A lot of us at work enjoyed it!
I love this show. Please bring it back for the summer!
Put Justin silver’s Dog in the city back on the air.I have been raving about it to all my friends…Please give it another chance…Justin is the BEST !!!!! and most talented !!!!
This is the second time I’ve been to your site. Thnx for sharing more information.
This was one on the best examples of positive dog training available to a wide number of viewers and I would love to see more, more and more. As a walker I see lots of examples of great dogs needing some help and this is a really entertaining choice. Please renew.
My family and I love this show. Please bring it back. Justin has such a wonderful way with the dogs. It is a positive and informational reality show. The training tips are educational and they actually work. We have tried some with great results. We would love to see more!
I love this show!!! Please renew it!! People need shows to help them train their pets. There are too many pets in shelters and given up because of lack of training. Justin is doing a great service so I truly hope that you continue the show!! On an advertising note, perhaps advertise it say on Tuesday nights during the commercial breaks of NCIS…… I am sure that the ratings will jump considerably. Not to mention, I bet Pauly Perette would endorse it too, since she is such an activist!!
I liked the show. Does it need some adjusting? Yes! Like spending LESS time on the problems and the follow up at the end and MORE time on the actual training. I know he worked with them on more things then just a couple minutes worth each dog. I’d like to see only two families instead of three, because that is just rush rush rush! It’s a positive reality show and I love seeing it then that other crap like big brother do so well. Wish this show would stick around! We need more positive people like Justin to look… Read more »
