Andy Mientus is back to working with NBC. Deadline reports the Smash star has joined NBCUniversal’s new TV show Gone.
Based on the novel One Kick by Chelsea Cain, the drama “tells the fictional story of Kit “Kick” Lannigan (Leven Rambin), survivor of a famous child-abduction case, and Frank Booth (Chris Noth), the FBI agent who rescued her.”
On Gone, Mientus will play Kick’s close friend James, who was also rescued by Frank after being kicked out of his house for being gay. The new series comes from NBCUniversal’s International Studios and will debut on Germany’s RTL and France’s TF1.
What do you think? Have you read One Kick? Are you interested in watching Gone?
Sooo been there done that, did anyone get a waiver for the cheesy, nom de plume of Kit, (Kick Lannigan) LoL- immediately brought to mind P,T Andersons primo – Dirk. Whats with the Gone ? shouldn’t it be Back ? Is it too early to say”put a fork in it ” ?
Anyway, time will tell, there’s no way to predict what rabbit will entice watchers to tune in.
I think you are 1000% wrong? Chris Noth, any new series he’s in, I’ll be watching! He doesn’t usually take stupid roles, so I have to think Gone has something going for it, or he would have passed on it…
