The Wrap reports that The Good Wife creators Michelle and Robert King are leaving the series after season seven. The news was confirmed by CBS Entertainment president Glenn Geller today at the TCA winter press tour.
The Good Wife is currently in the middle of its seventh season.
Apparently, the Kings had planned from the beginning to only go seven seasons with the legal drama. But will it continue without them? Geller says it definitely will:
The show can absolutely continue, even if the Kings are not running it.”
The Good Wife is one of CBS’ more popular shows, receiving both critical acclaim and continued high ratings even into its seventh season. So far, this season is averaging 8.285 million viewers per episode.
Geller also mentioned that current executive producer Craig Turk will remain to helm the series.
What do you think? Do you watch The Good Wife? Would you still watch without the creators there?
The Good Wife is the best show on TV . Yes I will watch it

The show should have ended after season 5.

PLEASE, renew the Good Wife – and with all current actors!!!
I have loved this show from episode one and never miss a show.. I will watch as long as producers have sense enough to keep it on the air!
I LOVE The Good Wife. One of my all time Top Ten favorite shows. It is one of the smartest, the wittiest, and the most brilliantly acted shows around. IT MUST CONTINUE….
