By the end of this season, Last Man Standing will have enough episodes for a syndication package. Will this be the end of this ABC sitcom or, will it be renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned.

What do you think? Do you still like the Last Man Standing TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?
This is a great show, one of the best. The comedic timing is perfect. Tim Allen is fastastic. I always laugh at this show. It definitely should be renewed and helps us to take a break and look at things in a different manner, and I find that amazing.
LOVE this show!! They do a great job of showing all views . ABC please keep this! There are not many good half hour sitcoms anymore but this is definitely a keeper.
Keep it. One of the very few shows that make me laugh beside all the fiction on the main-stream news programs.
I hope they renew The Last Man Standing for more episodes. Cause I love this show even though I have only see a few episodes I think it’s so funny. I hav’nt been able to watch all the other episodes cause I keep forgetting what day and time it’s on and what channel it’s on. I want to see more of these episodes so much.
Love it !agree with political views 100%
its okay but it is to short points, it those make since but make good points & good endings……
Hunh!!!
Used to love this show. And a few political jokes are OK. But it’s gone way beyond that now. All the jokes are political put-downs. And the only character who is not an ultra-conservative is portrayed as a bumblling atheist. It could be a great show if Tim would get down off his soapbox, quit trying to out-do Rush Limbaugh, and be the great comedian he knows how to be. I get enough politics in the daily news and political ads. I don’t need it in my TV sitcoms.
it’s one of the only right shows that are on tv or anything hollywood. There is so much leftism in the world just goes to show that the left doesn’t have a sense of humor. As Nelson says on the Simpsons, “Ha ha!”
Do you watch the same show I do! The only ultra conservative person is Tim Allen’s character. His wife is moderate. He has one daughter that is liberal, one is a conservative ROTC kid and one is clueless. Very typical of America I say! They joke back and forth and it’s funny. Lighten up! Seems like liberals only laugh when conservatives are the butt of the joke. Like to dish it out but not get it in return. Again lighten up. Its a TV show. Not an attack on your politics
That’s right Jenny. They don’t get it and never will. Dennis Prager talks about how sad that is all the time on his show. Imagine if the liberals were actually liberals and open to more then taking their ball and going home if they can’t have it their way.
For being a conservative, Allen sure opens his mouth a lot, even when he’s not being spoken to. With his own shady past, he should be careful of who and how he criticizes. Jenny, you may want to look up definitions for conservative, moderate, etc…
I agree Dave…this show has become a vehicle for nonstop racist and offensive one-liners with canned audience laughter, terrible material
R, I wil say it again! Lighten up! Wow, it is just a TV show. Why so sensitive! Are you actually threatening Tim Allen over a tv show? Are you actually implying he does not have freedom of speech because he is “playing” a conservative. Its just a tv roll. Do you know for a fact what his politics are???? Because I don’t and don’t care. It’s his business and his right as an American. Bringing up his past from decades ago only shows a lack of acceptance and lack of believing we all can have redemption. I thought that… Read more »
The atheist only appears to be a bumbler because he not surrounded liberal sycophants. Beside which he not the only liberal on the show. His oldest daughter is very liberal; as is his black neighbor. I think it just makes you uncomfortable seeing conservatives that are allowed to stick up for themselves. God knows that the balance in the media is so far gone it’s not likely to ever change. If you doubt that look at the difference in he coverage of Clinton vs any conservative. Last Man Standing is something your not used too. A more balanced show than… Read more »
I also turned it off and am no longer am a fan. We all complain that kids now days have no respect well this is one of the reasons. This is suppose to be a family show if not it should be aired at a later hour. when I want political satire I watch SNL. Tim Allen has a history and I’m sure he would want the writers bad rapping jail birds in every other sent.
A friend of mine also mentioned to me how turned off she was and wasn’t planning on watching it again.
This is a great show. I hope they get a 5th and even a 6th season. The values that this family demonstrates are a breath of fresh air. And Tim is always funny. ABC renew them for year five early. There aren’t many shows of this caliber on TV anymore.
Well said Jennifer. Lighten up enjoy the show and laugh at both sides. Because they all do stuff worth laughing at! For that matter we all do! That is part of the problem. We have forgotten how to laugh at ourselves!
Turned the first show off after 15 minutes. Not necessary to put our president down joke after joke.
I should have mentioned that Last Man Standing had been one of my favorite shows.
Wow thin skinned huh! Comedians have always done this… for some reason obama has escaped it longer than usual! Hope you did not watch SNL this past week because it was hilarious.
yes, Jenny I think that person is quite thin skinned – They do jokes in both directions on that show too. Happy night!
I agree. In all my years I can’t recall a single president that hasn’t been the butt of jokes by sitcoms, stand up comedians or talk show hosts in their monologues. That’s just the way of things. And it doesn’t matter if the president is “your” candidate or not, if a joke is funny, it’s funny. Presidents I’ve voted for have been made fun of before by other shows and comedians and I’ve loved some of the jokes. I’m sure some of the presidents themselves have even gotten a kick out of them. And something I’d like to note: Mary,… Read more »
Well said Jennifer
You say you turned off 15 minutes into the first show! And than you say it’s had been one of your favorites. Sorry but that doesn’t add up. And you also state you don’t think the President should be put down. Have you stopped watching other shows in the past when they insulted President Reagan, or either of the Presidents Bush. I’m guessing you don’t. And the attacks on those men was horrendous, especially when compared to politically correct way the current President is handled. You need to look at your values they’re out of balance. If you have defended… Read more »
I hope they renew Last Man Standing will be renewed again. I only got to see 5 episodes when it Frist started and I love Las Man Standing it is so funny and wanted to see last season and the season before that but could never find what channel it was on and what time it was on. Please renew it so I can see more episodes. I have only seen 5 episodes when it Frist started. I love this show.
Love, Love this show! It only gets better. This show would be a great catalyst for ABC to bring back TGIF. Add the rumored return if Full House and bring over Disney’s successful return of Boys world only now it Girls world and you have the beginnings of a solid lineup parents can watch with their kids again! Please ABC do us a favor and put more shows like this on. Keep Tim Allen and Last man standing!
Its on Netflix
Wild Wilson is spot on! I have been a fan of Tim Allen since first seeing him on TV … cannot even recall how many years ago. I want Tim to continue to succeed in everything he touches, so I hate making this observation … Last Man Standing is stuck in a rut. The story has not advanced, and the characters are not growing/evolving. I hope the writers snap out of their complacency and come up with some much needed fresh ideas. Without growth, this once great show will simply grow stale and die.
Jane, did you read wild Wilson’s review before commenting…he said how much he likes the show not that it is “Stuck in a rut” I think it is a great show! My family loves it and we all have different politics.
Always enjoy the cheesy yet fun wholesomeness of Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing and also the conservative viewpoint in a fun way that might help to send some folks in the correct direction in this world that needs it muchly today!
