Last year, despite the fact that the first season of Legends did very poorly in the ratings, TNT renewed it for a second season anyway. The producers have given the series a creative overhaul in hopes of attracting more viewers. Will it work or will the changes alienate the viewers they had? Cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.
Based on the award-winning book by spy novelist Robert Littell, Legends follows Martin Odum (Sean Bean), an undercover agent who can transform himself into a different person for each case. Others in the cast this season are Winter Ave Zoli, Steve Kazee, Aisling Franciosi, Kelly Overton, Klara Issova, and Ralph Brown. Last season castmember Morris Chestnut will guest star in several episodes.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Do you like watching Legends TV series on TNT? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a third season?
RENEW!
Sean Bean is incredible! The show is unique! Powerful! Renew it!!
This show was great and my husband and I are very disappointed it was canceled. It was such a smart show and well put together. I liked season 1 and grew to LOVE season 2. I was so excited for season 3. You had to really pay attention to what was going on and I don’t think most people can do that anymore.
I love this show please do not cancel I really look forward to watching this show and I love Sean Bean I mean after all he is so great he’s one of my favorite actors please do not take the show off
Absolutely angry about TNT canceling Legends. The best show they had: original, tied to modern day issues, exceptionally well written and acted. Major Crimes stayed? You must be kidding me. Talk about originality or writing or acting. Same guys repeating the same lines for a hundredth time. I understand the ratings, but Legends was never promoted the proper way. Most of my friends had never heard about it before I told them. Enough of that mindless chow of simplistic whodunit cop shows and fantasy playgrounds. Please keep at least one show for adults interested in modern day issues who appreciate… Read more »
My husband and I have watched both seasons and enjoyed it very much. The acting and story lines are very compelling. I think this show can be saved if the producers made some changes in the way the show is presented. We found the continuous jumping from 1 time period to another particularly annoying. This is an easy fix. Maybe they could do 1 timeline per show. Or maybe have Odum be 1 Legend per season or have it connect or lead into a second Legend half way through the season. We loved everything else about it. But there was… Read more »
I hope that this show stays on!! I love it! I am so addicted to watching it!! I do rewatches as well!! I am praying!! ‘crosses fingers’ ♥
Another casualty of the leftist need to interlace their political agenda with an otherwise good show. Reminiscent of what happened to American Odyssey.
Despite the fact that I really liked the show, be realistic…there is no way that they are going to renew this show no matter how much you demand it. Those are extremely low ratings, how are they going to attract any advertisers? The ratings were low last year, so be happy that you got a second year that wrapped up the story! A lot of other good shows dont get that (like Cedar Cove).
