The gang is getting back together. Today, The CW announced they will be airing a MADtv 20th Anniversary Reunion on January 12th.
The reunion special will feature 19 series alumni and highlight the sketch show’s most popular bits.
First broadcast in 1995, MADtv began as a sketch series inspired by the popular Mad magazine. Over the years it aired on FOX, the series kickstarted the careers of several well-known comic actors like Keegan-Michael Key, Alex Borstein, Artie Lange, and Ike Barinholtz.
The series ended in 2009, after 14 seasons and more than 300 episodes.
The CW’s reunion special will also coincide with the release of several MADtv episodes that will become available to stream on CW Seed beginning January 5th.
