A month ago, we reported Netflix was going to premiere a new true crime docu-series called Making a Murderer. Now, the streaming service has released a full trailer for the upcoming series.
Making a Murderer premieres on December 18th.
The docu-series follows the true story of Steven Avery, a Wisconsin man who was convicted of rape in 1985 only to be exonerated of the crime after 18 years of prison time. After he filed a $36 million lawsuit agains the county, he was charged with the murder of a 25-year-old photographer despite questionable evidence.
The 10-episode series explores Avery’s story, with interviews, archival footage, and investigative work on the part of filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos.
