What were you watching last night? Original network programming, reruns, cable, or something else?
I live near buffalo, the storm was days before this episode aired. The show was only preempted here 15 minutes and the whole episode aired.
Last night’s State of Affairs, news report interruption notwithstanding, was superb. Last week’s pilot was kind of a mess. If this episode had aired first, the show would be in a much better position now. As someone who never watched Grey’s Anatomy and doesn’t keep up with interpersonal conflicts within shows, I was unaware that Katherine Heigl was so unpopular until I read a couple of reviews from national entertainment writers. They just hate her, and the hate the fact that the show wouldn’t give them additional episodes to preview. So, IMO, if State of Affairs fails, it will be… Read more »
BTW, ABC didn’t have a presidential interruption involving the riot at Ferguson, Missouri last night but both NBC and CBS did.
That depends on what market you were in. In the Detroit area DWTS was definitely interrupted for 15minutes or more for “breaking news”. Why would they break from LIVE tv? I thought that was crazy and assumed those minutes would be lost, fortunately the show went on in LA and the network resumed coverage from where it was interrupted :).
I was so disappointed even though I live in the West Coast that there’s not one but two problems about what went down in the East Coast. First, Buffalo, NY had a major snowstorm which forces the Bills-Jets game to be played on a Monday night and two, the interruption of Obama live telecast involving the unstoppable riot in Ferguson, Missouri. Let’s hope next Monday night won’t happen again.
this good be the end for sleepy hollow. to bad i love the show. state of affairs is gonna be gone. i don’t know how long NBC will stay with it but it’s gone. heigl is a big reason. she really turned a lot of people off with grey’s. i’m one of them. i wouldn’t watch a thing she does.
Heigl hater or not NBC should have high hopes for State of Affairs but I was so disappointed that the series dropped big time from last week’s premiere and I don’t know how next week’s new episode is going to hold up.
i will never leave heigl alone. and you can stop people from feeling that way. she is a train wreck. and NBC may want this to work but it won’t she is not a good actor. they have made a huge mistake here. and that my friend is my opinion.
All I can say is Let’s Go Buffalo. The football game on CBS was far better to watch than any of the regularly broadcast shows.
Thats because of the simpletons that exist in the US. They prefer a bunch of numbskulls banging into each other..Its called the dumbing down of America
