Don’t give up on Nashville yet. Deadline reports the Twitter fan campaign #BringBackNashville has grown significantly since ABC announced they were cancelling the series last week.
As we reported earlier, the network has cancelled the country music drama after four seasons. The series stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as two country music superstars.
Since news of the cancellation broke, the series’ producer, Lionsgate TV, has been shopping the drama to other networks in hopes of continuing the show. Additionally, thousands of fans have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms with the hashtag campaign #BringBackNashville. The campaign has grown so popular, Nashville‘s creator, Callie Khouri, has even starting using it.

The season four finale of Nashville airs on May 25th.

I agree with everyone’s comments. Nashville is a terrific show and it is a terrible decision to cancel it. I am still in pain whenever I see a promo for The Chew (ewww) and think of One Life to Live. Please, do not do this to us again!!!
I AM SO UPSET AT THE CANCELLATION OF NASHVILLE BY ABC. THERE ARE SOME TRULY HORRENDOUS SHOWS ON TV AND YET YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL ONE OF THE BEST. TRULY TALENTED ACTORS AND MUSICIANS WITH WELL WRITTEN STORYLINE. YOU ARE CRAZY ?AND HAVE UPSET A LOT OF FANS. PLEASE RECONSIDER THIS DECISION.

Why or why cancel one of the best TV dramas in a long time. There are so many police shows and medical shows, Nashville is a welcome change. We have been loyal fans since the beginning and are wondering why on Earth ABC is shooting itself in the foot because of the cancellation. Please let Nashville live on!!!!!
