Don’t give up on Nashville yet. Deadline reports the Twitter fan campaign #BringBackNashville has grown significantly since ABC announced they were cancelling the series last week.
As we reported earlier, the network has cancelled the country music drama after four seasons. The series stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as two country music superstars.
Since news of the cancellation broke, the series’ producer, Lionsgate TV, has been shopping the drama to other networks in hopes of continuing the show. Additionally, thousands of fans have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms with the hashtag campaign #BringBackNashville. The campaign has grown so popular, Nashville‘s creator, Callie Khouri, has even starting using it.

The season four finale of Nashville airs on May 25th.

I’ve been a huge fan of the show, but as of recently… the writers have made every last character do something stupid making them un-likable. There really wasn’t a character left to root for. I wish the show would go on, with new writers.
