There’s no worries that Nurse Jackie will be cancelled this time around since Showtime has already announced that season seven is the end. Will the TV show end its run on a ratings high or will the numbers drop lower. We’ll have to wait and see.
A dark comedy, Nurse Jackie revolves around Jackie Peyton, an emergency department nurse at All Saints’ Hospital in New York. She’s strong-willed but has a hard time juggling both her frenzied job and her home life without a little prescription assistance. The rest of the cast includes Anna Deavere Smith, Merritt Wever, Paul Schulze, Peter Facinelli, Dominic Fumusa, Stephen Wallem, Ruby Jerins, Mackenzie Aladjem, Adam Ferrara, Morris Chestnut, and Betty Gilpin.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
Final season averages: 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 700,000 total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Nurse Jackie TV show? Do you think it should end or been renewed for a seventh season?
I think Jackie recovered. She just had all the rugs pulled. She is an addict and a fighter. I wish the show had not been cancelled.
I will miss Nurse Jackie but it’s time to say bye to her seeing her be addicted to drugs and decieve people.
My hubby likes this show. I go to the doctors too much to even get into this particular show. It’s an eyeopener and you think….are my physicians and nurses doing this…….
