Are you a fan of Outsiders? WGN America just cancelled the TV series after two seasons. What do you think? Do you think it should have been renewed? Would you watch a third season on another channel?
Airing on Tuesday nights, the Outsiders drama follows the Farrell clan, a tight-knit family who reside in the rugged hills of Appalachia and come into conflict with the surrounding population. The cast includes David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson, Francie Swift, and Phyllis Somerville.
Ratings have never been great for Outsiders, but it’s been one of the highest-rated original scripted shows on WGN America. Currently, season two is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demo and 780,000 viewers — down by 26% in the demo when compared to the first season. Now, it seems that the upcoming season two finale, scheduled for April 25th, will also serve as the series finale.
Or, will it? Sony Pictures Television is reportedly shopping a third season of Outsiders to other outlets. The show’s ratings wouldn’t seem to be a strong selling point but, these days, you never know.

Yes! I would watch this awesome series of THE OUTSIDERS on another station. I’m so ready for season three, then to elsewhere WGN cancelled carrying it. I have gotten 6 other households waiting for the new series to start.

Yes my family and friends would definitely watch this on ANY other channel. Great show fantastic writing and characters, good family show, fresh and history. Wats not to love. Weve been counting the days for the start of the third season for the last four months. Please somebody pick this awesome series up. You wont be sorry.

I liked the so much, I bought season 1 and 2 DVD.
Iwoud watch and follow it to a new channel that was one show that definitely was not like the rest that you see on TV today hopefully it will find a new place

I absolutely hate it when they cancel all the great shows like this. The Outsiders is a super show! Hook it up on Netflix! I’ve gotten to where I don’t watch TV anymore….just Netflix!
