“Something got loose.” AMC has released an eerie new teaser trailer for Preacher, Variety reports.

The series is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. The TV show is being produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Sam Catlin.

Preacher stars Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, a small-town Texas preacher who becomes possessed by a mysterious force. Joining him are his girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and his friend Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), an Irish vampire. Lucy Griffiths, W. Earl Brown, Anatol Yusef, Tom Brooke, Derek Wilson, and Ian Colletti also star.

Preacher premieres on May 22nd at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
