Saturday, October 6, 2012 — It was another Saturday dominated by college football. Of the four networks, only CBS had regular programming with an original of 48 Hours and reruns of Made in Jersey and Elementary — two new dramas.
On ABC, we had the Nebraska at Ohio State game with a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.95 million viewers. It won the night in both categories.
On FOX, it was the West Virginia at Texas match with a 1.3 rating and 4.07 million viewers.
On NBC, we had the Miami at Notre Dame game which garnered a 1.1 rating with 3.50 million viewers.
On CBS, a rerun of “soon-to-be-cancelled” Made in Jersey started the night with a 0.5 demo rating and 2.75 million viewers. It was followed by an Elementary encore with a 0.7 rating and 3.51 million viewers.
The night finished with a new edition of 48 Hours which drew a 0.9 rating and 3.09 million. The demo was on par with last week’s installment but viewership was much lower.
What do you think? Were you watching football last night or something else?

Actually CBS ran a repeat of the premiere episode of Elementary after Made in Jersey Saturday night. I was watching the station. And where do you get “soon-to-be-cancelled Made in Jersey”? Has there been an announcement I missed somewhere?
Thanks for the correction. No, it hasn’t been announced but the ratings are horrible.
