Nick at Nite has renewed their original sitcom, See Dad Run, for a second season. The cable channel has ordered 20 new installments, matching the number of episodes in the first season.
See Dad Run revolves around Scott Baio as he plays a TV star who made a deal with his soap opera star wife. Now, it’s his turn to stay home with the kids. He quickly realizes that playing a father on television is much easier than doing the job in real life. The show also stars Alanna Ubach, Bailey Michelle Brown, Jackson Brundage, Mark Curry, Ramy Youssef, and Ryan Newman.
The series debuted in early October and airs on Sunday nights. The most recent episode attracted 1.61 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
Only nine episodes have aired thus far and See Dad Run isn’t currently on the schedule.
What do you think? Are you glad to hear that See Dad Run has been renewed for a second season?
Our household is very happy that “See Dad Run” has been renewed. We love Alanna Ubach and want to see anything that she is in. She is a hoot! Scott Baio has been a solid performer for many years with the exception of the one show off of Happy Days that never should have been done in the first place. The kids are all really great. Congratulations to you all on the renewal!!!
I watch See Dad Run with my daughter and granddaughter….one of the funniest shows on TV. Can’t wait for it’s return…!!!!
I am happy See Dad Run was renewed it is a great show!! We need more programs like this on tv!
I am happy that they renewed See Dad Run for season 2.
I love the show I just started watching it and down loaded the previous episodes from VOD. I think it is a GREAT funny family show. I think they need to give it a chance these companies are cancelling these shows so quick and they are really good shows. I am sick of all these stupid reality shows!! We need some good family fun shows on T.V… Keep this on…
I’m really excited to find out “See Dad Run” has been renewed. I’ve loved the show and thought it was a great first season. I think the concept of David being a stay-at-home dad is funny and relevant. I also love the cast.
