As fans of The Firm may have noticed, the cancelled legal drama was bumped from the schedule once again last Saturday night. As a result, NBC has adjusted their schedule and delayed the final four episodes by one week each.
If you watch the show via Hulu, you may have already seen the 19th episode. A note on the streaming website says, “Due to a programming error, Chapter 19 went up earlier than intended. We apologize for the error – it will become available again this weekend.”
You can see the revised airdates below, as well as brief episode descriptions:

What do you think? Are you still watching The Firm? Do you think that they’ll wrap everything up by the end of the season/series?
LAME! I just sat down to watch chapter 19 that I recorded and was very disappointed when the senior citizen prank show began playing. No insult to Betty White, but The Firm is so much better and I have been patiently waiting for the episode after a couple of weeks. What the F? I will be sure not to start watching any new NBC shows from now on if this is what I can expect.
Both the firm and harrys law are fabulous. It is a huge mistake to cancel these shows. I hate the reality tv stuff. Please reconsider.
I love this show! You can’t expect people to find it if you keep moving it. Give something with great script and real acting a chance. Shame on you for cancelling yet another great show.
What is wrong with you people! We couldn’t wait for the next weeks episode of “The Firm”. I see that you also cancelled “Harry’s Law”. That was another one of my favorites. It is not a wonder that I usually don’t watch NBC/ for sure I won’t now. I am not a reality TV fan and never will be.
Typical. If a show is really good, well acted, well scripted and requires half a brain to watch, it will be cancelled everytime. It is a shame that the people behind this show could not land CBS where it would have been a hit. Every show in that time slot on Thursday fails, look at AWAKE! It was supposed to be something. Anyway, love the show, I hope they give it a good ending at some point. It is a shame that this series did not go the HBO-10 shows a year route, it is so darned good. Great acting,… Read more »
Keith Housewright » there are 22.
What is wrong with you people.”The Firm” was an excellent series that we couldn’t wait for the next week to see what was going to happen. It is not a wonder that I usually don’t watch NBC. I see that Harry’s Law got the axe also. That was also another one of my favorites. I’m sorry but I don’t care for reality TV.
Cancelling Harry’s Law? I guess I’ll be canceling NBC off my favorite channel list. I already stopped watching the Today show for Good Morning America. There’s plenty of good shows on other networks and cable so NBC will probably NOT miss me. That’s okay; I won’t miss them either!!
I love this show. It is filled with intrigue, not to mention showing the human side of the characters. It certainly does The Firm movie proud!! I’m quite upset with NBC for canceling this show. The networks seem to be hell bent on launching good shows and just because the numbers aren’t immediately evident shows get cancelled. A minimum of 2 seasons is always appropriate; let the viewers catch up to what is available that is really good viewing.
I like it! Have seen all the episodes. According to Wiki, there are 22 episodes total. I hope this is a mistake and that there are actually 21… would hate to miss one. My favorite character by far is Ray.
Lynn » You are correct. There are 22.
We started watching from the very beginning. It started slow but we kept watching. We quickly got hooked and started taping it. It filled the void that was created for when 24 went off the air. Action packed and we couldn’t wait til the next one. It saddened us to find out that this show didn’t take off. I think it is a case of wrong night. Should be on during the week. I hope you will reconsider
My husband and look forward to each episode. We are John Grishom fans and have enjoyed the drama. We wanted to find out what happened to Abby and Mitch and the rest of the cast. We are disappointed that it is canceled.
I forgot another great show recently cancelled–Harry’s Law. What a shame. Kathy Bates was awesome. Starz- Camelot was great. Too bad you pulled the plug. At this point I don’t really feel like investing alot of my time into some truly great shows only to have it cancelled after a few episodes. You had to be invested in a program to follow the Firm, but I followed and couldn’t wait for next season. Oh wait, there isn’t going to be one. Another one along the same line–Ringer. It kept my attention and I moved my free time around being glued… Read more »
It’s no wonder viewers are flocking to cable. Some of MY favorites? Merlin-cancelled, The Playboy Club-cancelled, Pan Am-cancelled, Missing-cancelled and now the Firm. The three Big networks don’t give a show for people with a brain any time to establish an audience. I, for one, will be renewing my cable and will move there where I recently found Merlin–alive and well.
I like the show!!
