In breaking news, Deadline reports that Amazon has renewed freshman alternate-history drama, The Man in the High Castle, for a second season. Deadline says, “The project had been a standout at Amazon since the pilot stage, becoming the service’s most-watched pilot to date.”
An adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s novel of the same name, this dystopian TV series drama, set in 1962, poses the question: what if the Axis powers had won World War II? The Man in the High Castle cast includes: Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank, Rupert Evans, Cary-Hiroyuki Tarawa, Joel De La Fuente, Rufus Sewell, and DJ Qualls.
Last month, we reported that series creator and writer Frank Spotnitz already had a lot of season two mapped out. At the beginning of this month, we covered Spotnitz’s comments ensuring fans he knows where, if not when, the story will end. At that time, the creator promised satisfying closure.
