Meredith Vieira is staying in daytime. NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution has announced that The Meredith Vieira Show has been renewed for a second season.
As was the case with The Queen Latifah Show and Katie (since cancelled), Vieira’s talk show was sold as a two-year package. Unless the series tanked out of the gate, the renewal was pretty much already a done deal.
Here are the details:

What do you think? Do you like The Meredith Vieira Show? Will you be watching season two?
I am a little confused. I thought I was watching season 2 and that it was winding up soon. Anyway, love her, love the show and the table talk even more. I also love Wendy Williams and Ellen. Steve Harvery made some changes in his format and I don’t watch it as often though I really like him.
I’m so glad that the show is staying on. It’s one I watch almost every day.
I am devastated to hear that Meredith’s show will be canceled. I love the panel discussions and the unique members of the panel. She is a great interviewer and really funny. If I cannot be home to watch it, I record it to watch later. I got my husband hooked on it too, and we watch it together after he comes home from work. If you plan to replace her, it had better be a very, very, very good show, or you will lose a loyal viewer!
We love her show. Meredith is great and the panel is so much fun. It actually makes me laugh which is a good thing these days. It is light and very interesting. Please don’t cancel!!!
I think it’s a shame that they are cancelling her show. She’s a great host, gun and interesting. I really like the newer format with the panel. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!
I think she should go back to the “variety show” type and get rid of the 30 minute segment discussing issues with all those loud mouth jerks
Love her and the show
I always watched Meredith and really liked her show
until Hot topics. I stopped watching because of it
and feel that format is similar to The View. Maybe
it’s the panel of people, who I don’t care for and don’t
really care about their opinions.
Hate the table talk on this show. These people are not at all interesting. I like Meredith but this show is not her strong suit. Can’t wait for it to go away or some better competition for this show so I can watch something else.
I love Meredith’s show. Please keep it on. Where do I find it in Charlotte NC?
I will watch the Meredith Vieira show I think it is exceptional
Please Please cancel Meredeth Vieira show. Katie was much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not or will not watch it
ms Vieira is one very talented exceptional woman…..the country should be allowed to enjoy someone down to earth and very real. she is charming and very loving. personally, I enjoy just being in the same room with here……her smile lights up the room
WAS A SHOW IN LAS VEGAS MENTIONING GLUTIN IN DOUGH
FACT THERE IS NO GLUTIN IN FLOWER .
IT DEVELOPS AS DOUGH IS MIXED OR WORKED B4 BAKING . GLUTIN DONT EXHIST IN NATURE . THE MORE YOU MIX THE MORE GLUTIN .
I love the show. It takes a while for a show to get the exact fill. I prefer it to the gossiping Wendy Williams. I learn something watching Meredith. It’s like picking up a tabloid paper with Wendy.
Love it!
