At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

Will there be a sequel? It was one of my favorite shows and the only reason that I ordered stars after seeing the free preview on the BBC if not I guess I will cancel my stars

It was such a beautifully shot series and the actor’s are phenomenal. I would love to see a second season and even a third. Several of my friends and family, from young to old, have watched the season and can’t wait to see another. Loved it.

My wife and I watched the white queen on demand and we loved it. We are looking forward to season 2. I hope there will be a season 2!
