At today’s Starz portion of the TCA Winter Press Tour, CEO Chris Albrecht said that the cable channel is considering a sequel to The White Queen — The White Princess.
According to Deadline, he said, “We’re working with [The White Queen screenwriter] Emma Frost on the stories… We will not have BBC as part of it. We are interested, if the stars align, in a sequel to The White Queen.”
The limited series apparently performed well for Starz but was less successful for the BBC which co-produced. The latter has decided not to continue with the property.
Like the original series, The White Princess would be based on the book by historical novelist Philippa Gregory.

I was disappointed when I finished watching the first season that there was not a second, I would very pleased to see this series continue.
I am not interested in a white princess. The white queen had all the stars in perfect roles to make it so very believable. I want very much to see more seasons of THE WHITE QUEEN.
Please keep the series going on Starz. I read so much about the Monarachy. The Plantagents and the Tudors. I am looking forward to the White Princess on STARZ!!!!

Please keep the series going. This country needs educational entertainment compared to all the reality garbage that is on. I’m not a nitpicker as to costumes, castles, etc. This show as well as Tudors caused me to look up and study bloodline to Henry VIII. Period pieces are a look into our past. Thank you.
